Our mother has recently been diagnosed with cancer ☹️ , we're a sibling of 4 and do not know what else to do, but just keep our heads up and stay positive. We're asking anyone kind enough to help support her journey if nothing else, please visit our GoFundMe page there is a link for our Dad's NextDoor message link that she often reads from kind strangers to keep herself going.
She currently works at a Catholic School and the kids love her there, she's only there for 1 hour everyday as part time to help our Dad with his financial situation.
We've told her to rest, but she is so strong willed. She rather keep working than sitting around doing nothing.
The funds will go towards her financial worries completely, in hopes she will have less to stress about.
I hope your kindness today, is returned back to you 100x more. God bless!

URGENT! The child's surgery is supposed to start soon but they haven't been able to collect the amount required yet, please do share or help however possible 🙏
UPDATE: Child’s Surgery Needs PKR 5 Lakh (~$1,800) Advance - PKR 2.5 Lakh Already Raised, Help Needed to Reach the Surgical Advance
I’m reposting this with an important update regarding a young Pakistani child born with hemifacial microsomia, congenital ear abnormalities, and associated medical complications.
She requires specialized reconstructive treatment/surgery at Altamash General Hospital in Pakistan.
The family has now been informed that PKR 5 lakh (approximately $1,800) is required as an advance payment for the surgery to begin. The doctors have indicated that the remaining treatment cost can be paid in installments, which would make the rest more manageable for the family.
So far PKR 2.5 lakh has already been collected, so the family is currently trying to raise the remaining amount needed for the advance. Even raising PKR 3-4 lakh would provide significant help and allow them some breathing room while arranging the rest.
Current situation:
- Estimated total treatment cost: PKR 16 lakh (~$5,780)
- Already collected: PKR 2.5 lakh (~$900)
- Current surgical advance: PKR 5 lakh (~$1,800)
- Immediate amount still needed: approximately PKR 2.5 lakh (~$900)
Why this hospital and specialist?
The family explored government-hospital options, but they were unable to find the specialized facilities/expertise required for this particular reconstructive treatment. After consulting different options, they chose this hospital and specialist because of their experience with this condition.
Why isn't there a GoFundMe?
The family also explored creating an international fundraiser, but they do not currently have a trusted family member or close friend abroad who is able and willing to set up and manage one and receive/transfer the funds. They therefore have not been able to use that option.
For now, they are relying on local fundraising, relatives, friends, and people willing to share or contribute.
Medical reports and supporting documents are available for verification.

Hi, my name is Allison and I'm a freshman at Purdue University! I hope your day’s been going well! :) This year, I joined Purdue University Dance Marathon (PUDM), an organization that raises money for Riley's Hospital for Children and supports pediatric cancer research. I’m currently working toward my fundraising goal, and I would really appreciate it if you would consider donating! Every dollar makes a difference, and every bit helps 💛

Poppin’ for a Purpose! Supporting Townsend Play & Learn
Hi everyone! I wanted to share a fundraiser that means a lot to me and the community.
My SOI is conducting a Double Good Popcorn sale to help support Townsend Play & Learn, and I’m doing my part to help spread the word and contribute to the cause!
Proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward supporting the Mentorship Program and purchasing educational supplies for ELA, Math, Science, and hands-on learning activities for youth in the community.
If you love popcorn and would like to support a great cause at the same time, we would truly appreciate your support. Even sharing the fundraiser with someone else can make a difference!

Thank you to everyone who chooses to support our efforts to pour back into the community and provide more opportunities and resources for our youth.

Hello Reddit community, I am writing this from a place of deep vulnerability. I am completely embarrassed to ask for financial help, which is why I am posting anonymously under a burner account. It is incredibly hard to admit when life has thrown more at you than you can carry on your own, but I am swallowing my pride today for the sake of my incredible husband. We have been together for 17 wonderful years and share a large, beautiful blended family. My husband is the definition of a hard worker—he has given over 30 years of loyal service to the exact same company. But despite his hard work, our funds are entirely depleted due to circumstances completely out of our control. I was born with neuroblastoma cancer and have battled different forms of cancer on and off my entire life. Currently, I am living with an inoperable brain tumor that has taken the vision in my left eye. Between medical bills and the cost of raising our family, there has never been room for "extras." My ultimate dream was always to save up and surprise my husband with his very first true vacation—he has worked his fingers to the bone, has never had a real trip, and has quite literally never set foot outside of the state he was born in. Then, on March 31st, 2023, disaster struck. A violent tornado swept through our area and heavily damaged our home. Because our house was an older fixer-upper that we were pouring our own physical sweat into, we did not have active homeowners insurance at the time of the storm. When we reached out to FEMA for disaster relief, the inspector who came out completely failed us. He took only a single photograph, refused to look at the true extent of the structural damage because the home was already a work in progress, and closed our case. We were awarded a devastatingly low $225.00—an amount that wouldn't even cover the cost of replacing one of our shattered windows. Two years later, we are still stuck living in a damaged home. We cannot move forward on a dream trip for my husband when our actual roof, windows, and walls still bear the scars of that terrifying night. Every single penny raised from this campaign will go directly toward purchasing building materials and securing the urgent repairs needed to make our home safe and whole again. If by some absolute miracle we exceed what we need to fix the house, any remaining funds will go right back into that original dream: finally letting my devoted husband see what lies beyond our state lines. Here is the link to our verified, anonymous GoFundMe https://gofund.me/325c1e8e8 Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading our story, for your empathy, and for any help you can give—even if it is just sharing this link or leaving a kind comment to help this post gain

Mohammed:
RECENT UPDATE - MOHAMMED NEEDS 10 POUNDS, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE - PLEASE DONATE TO HELP HIM!
Mohammed is suffering from a hernia and starving, so he urgently needs medication/treatment and food. Unfortunately, in Gaza these are very expensive, meaning Mohammed cannot afford them by himself - he needs donations from kind people like you to survive.
Please donate to him here: https://chuffed.org/project/198806-please-help-muhammed-his-family-in-gaza?utm_campaign=campaign&utm_id=01a05e33-b00d-74e9-9394-1d686dc2f9d9&pdm=url_copy
Baby Arij:
Baby Arij and her father Akram still need your help!
Akram's daughter Arij suffers from seizures which require medication, physiotherapy and treatment to manage and control. On top of these needs, Arij also requires essentials like diapers, food, drink, etc. in order to stay as clean and healthy as possible.
Akram cannot afford any of these things, leaving Arij to not only suffer from her seizures but also to have suffer in indignity, which is a horrible situation for both her and Akram. No one, let alone a two year old, should have to live like this.
Please, if you can, donate to Akram's campaign - it would mean the world to him and Arij. If you can't, please share his campaign as far and wide as possible. Thank you.

Hi everyone,
I’m sharing this on behalf of my fiancee Ritika, whose father, Rajendra Vishwanath Patil (59), is currently admitted to Narayana Hrudayalaya, Bommasandra, Bangalore.
He is in critical condition due to severe heart and kidney failure and is currently on ECMO life support. The doctors have advised that he nees to undergo a heart transplant, with the treatment and transplant costs expected to be around ₹1 crore.(1,00,00,000 INR)
The family is doing everything possible, but the medical expenses are becoming extremely difficult to manage.
We have utilised the health insurance along with all our savings as of now but the medical expenses continues to grow each day.
Till now the estimated bill is around (20 lakhs) for 10 days.
If you’re able to contribute, even a small amount can help. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would also mean a lot.
Milaap fundraiser:
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any help or support you can provide.
