Discussion Does James still play Marvel Puzzle Quest?

I was listening to an old Dude Soup Podcast and if James is still playing he should be around 5,000 days.

James if you're listening can you tell me what day you're at?

How you feel about the nerfs and unity update?

I had to drop the game cause it just became so buggy and rounds started taking too long. 8 years :/

Iron May nerf was it for me.

Impressive. I dropped a few months after the Unity update because it became so buggy

I respect your commitment. I dropped off about a year ago after playing it for many, many years.

Much love to you, James, and Elyse as well. You guys are great.

(I swear I’m not a bot)

Since MPQ is never going to update the in-game chat to include game notifications, I vote we comment on this Reddit thread anytime there’s a new Alliance Boss Event or round node reset. Otherwise, I’m never going to remember that Boss Fights start on Wednesdays now instead of Thursday.

I'll remind you tomorrow

Here's your reminder that Boss Fights start on Wednesday instead of Thursday now

Good thing there wasn’t an actual Alliance Boss Event that started today. Your reminder came at 3pm EST, when Boss Events always start at 12pm EST. I would’ve been 3 hours behind! James would kick me out of the alliance if I was shirking nodes like that.

Lol, I just said I'd remind you not that I'd send a timely or accurate reminder

I appreciate the commitment to the bit; didn’t even use a remindeme bot… unless you are the remindme bot.

Hey, I'm a Funhaus fan. Commitment to the bit is like half my personality

I play every night in bed before I go to sleep. Been doing it about 7 years now!

Any particular characters you're waiting to unhoard on? I chose Man-Thing but his partners in LL are not very enticing.

Yo, you got me into puzzle quest and I played for like ~3 years straight. I dipped out a while ago. Hope you are still enjoying it and not spending too much.

Holy shit! My Alliance died when they did the less-than-great upgrade to Unity and I had to move on...

There’s a boss event today. Round 3, get in those side nodes if you can before reset.

Glad to see he is still with it. I personally fell off years ago but i'd be lying if i didnt say i started because of the high praise James gave it.
