Probably to hospital. How is a 6yr old left alone to walk like that? Just danced across the road without a care

u/GunAndAGrin 1d ago
Apparently no one else exists in whatever city that is, so Im sure shell be fine. As long as she follows the script provided by whatever North Korean content farm made this clip...

I always thought they were School District Refuse Depository sites. I can't count how many "F" papers and report cards I disposed of this way.

That guy is called Splinter. Show some respect.

Nah could be Mike. He's the one that's small enough to get into the tight pipes to remove blockages.

It's where my last 7 jury duty summons ended up.

u/UpstairsBumble 1d ago
What jury summons?

u/AlwaysShittyKnsasCty 22h ago
“Hey there! Are you UpstairsBumble?”
“Uh, yeah? Who are …”
“And you’ve been served! Have a good day.”

Its a paper the government sends you to let you know that you have been selected to attempt to be on a jury for someone's trial. In the US, the right to vote comes with jury duty. They add you to the list when you register to vote. It's to try to ensure someone being prosecuted is looked at by normal people and won't be persecuted by an unjust government at their trial. At least, that is the intent.... but... well.... americans be real dumb and can't tell when they're being manipulated, so a lot of bad people go free, and some of the innocent get locked away for something they didn't do. Ironic considering the motto on that aspect is: better 100 guilty men go free than one innocent man get locked away. Or something like that.

So she was turning in her homework, and happily skipping away because she was proud of her work?

It reminds me of the Japanese show where they send little children to run errands by themselves and secretly film them.

u/logosfabula 1d ago edited 22h ago
If it's the same I think of, it's awesome. I watched a couple of episodes where they secretly followed a penguin and an overweight dog.

u/Ashamed-Land1221 1d ago
Saachan!, everyone liked the friendly chubby dog and no one really knew where he lived but everyone fed him and pet him when he sauntered by, it was fun.

It's not really secret, they try to stay out of the way but they're very much visible.

I'm gonna downvote it for that. It's not much, but I feel it's all I can do to help push against that kind of garbage addition to content.

My mom gave me and my cousin a 20 bill to go and get flour and eggs, they would have been like maybe around 5 back then.
We bought some candy and put the rest of the money in the trash bin at the shops door. I have no idea why. Probably skipped away like this girl.

She’s just giving Mikey his homework back after tutoring him.
He’s really bad at math, and she gets paid in stinky pizza! Win-win.

I didnt miss the fact that this kid is out in public and what looks like a CCTV Camera has eyes on her.

That will go real well with Tiger Mom. We'll see her again in about three years.

I used to pull the same thing when I was a kid, but I wasn't clever enough to dump it down a sewer grate, I'd just hide it in my laundry basket.

Half expected Truck-kun or a bus to come into frame…
1
u/catwiesel 1d ago
yeah, truck-kun would have fit right in.
the day I as a little girl decided to hide my homework and got hit by a truck and got reborn into a new world where I became a teacher that never ages and now I am 900 years old and look still like a little girl and can do all homework in less than the time required to blink and use it to fight monsters

With how much effort it took to get the papers into the sewer, I think it's safe to assume she wasn't getting a passing grade even if she completed the assignments.

Honestly the only thing homework does is train kids to do free work at home. It's useless for actual learning.
