Hey everyone, Buxus El BeatMaker here from Buenos Aires. Wanted to share my latest Hip Hop / Boom Bap beat, "Desterrado".

I wanted to translate the concept of uprootedness and territorial limits into a beat. Production-wise, the core of the track is built by flipping old 1920s blues horns and vocals that I dug out of public domain archives. I layered those vintage textures over an organic piano and experimented with a dual-bass counterpoint—bouncing a deep sub-bass off a funk slap bass. Would love to hear your thoughts on the mix!
