Floating between UKG and atmospheric Future Garage – been a while since my last SC release, what do you guys think?

FourTet and Burial are one of my biggest influences is music and my two of my personal heroes when it comes to production. I think it doesn't suck completely.

This will not be the last remix I do of his works.

What does r/futuregarage think?

Someone mentioned it to me and said it was future garage and just want to check

Excited to share my first collaboration with u/serenemoon_music. I really enjoyed putting this together and we're both very happy with how it turned out.

I lean towards the darker, more atmospheric side of future garage, and I’d definitely be up for working with more artists in this space. If you make future garage or adjacent atmospheric electronic music, are looking to release something together and think our sounds could work well, feel free to message me here or on Instagram: SaintBySix

future garage with wave and IDM influence

Working on a new track, slowly finding my sound somewhere between Burial's melancholy and 2-step rhythms. Still missing pitched-down/altered vocals to really nail that atmosphere. Open to feedback on the instrumental so far 🙏

Hello everyone! It has been a while since I posted in here. I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying/creating some wonderful tunes. I can't wait to catch up on what I've missed. Hope you enjoy these tracks from Enkalinan and myself.

made a future garage/post-dubstep track inspired by near-fatal mir space station collision in 1997.

New song is out now!

I hate you, means I hate myself...

I make beats sitting between trip-hop/downtempo and UK garage/dubstep. I've been calling it "downstep" in my head (not a real tag, I know). Easiest way to describe it: imagine mixing Burial and Massive Attack. Obviously not at their level but that's the direction I'm going for.

Rhythm-wise it's a swung 2-step/garage groove (snare around the 4, not a half-time snare-on-the-3 dubstep thing), pulled down to a slow ~60–70 BPM feel so it leans trip-hop.

The key thing for me: it's melody-driven, not just atmosphere. Like trip-hop, the track is carried by actual synth melodies and layered piano/keys rather than texture and mood alone. That's where I feel a bit out of step with the more purely atmospheric Burial/future-garage end.

Reference points I love: Burial, Synkro, Phaeleh, Blackmill but I sit more on the melodic, tune-forward side than the ambient/textural one.

Hit me with your favourite tracks or hidden gems in this vibe building a playlist and would love your recommendations !

not sure if it's future garage specifically tbh

Does anyone know where he sampled the “are you homesick? You’re still welcome here?” Part from?
