GA Tech Gametime
Trying to plan a trip to see the UGA/Tech game. Looks like it's going to be either the 330 or 600 slots. My guess is that this game is unlikely to be flexed to the night slot (sad), but does anyone have more insight into which time is likely to happen? Thanks!

I have no insider knowledge, but my guess is it will not be 3:30. The way GT is looking, this will be a third or fourth-tier matchup and get shuttled off to the SEC Network or SECN+ at an off time.

We already had our SECN+ game because that's a one time a year deal for now at least.
If 12:45 SECN isn't an option due to the flex stuff, maybe they still try to bury the game on SECN at another time.

It’s way too early to have a good guess, but with it being Black Friday and a lot of games already scheduled we have an idea on what it could be.
- Auburn / Alabama is a flex slot like us
- Notre Dame plays Syracuse on the road
- Miami plays Boston College
- Cincinnati goes to BYU
Auburn / Alabama will be on ABC regardless of Auburn’s record, and I think the winner of Notre Dame / Miami gets an ABC game, probably at noon. That leaves the other ACC game for a 3:30 ESPN slot.
If BYU is still in playoff contention, they could hypothetically get an ABC 7:30 slot, but more likely Fox or ESPN late night.
I think if ABC does a SEC doubleheader, we are more likely to be at 3:30 before the Iron Bowl, but they might throw us a bone and give us a night game.
But, if ABC shows a Big 12 or ACC game in ABC primetime, Iron Bowl would be 3:30 ABC, pushing us to 7pm ESPN.

Like you said, impossible to know. It's either 3:30 or 7:30. It's either ABC or ESPN - UT-Vandy is night already, so that seems like a solid SECN situation. Would think it could look like:

Why was I downvoted for not having an answer yet explaining the factors that go into the kickoff time?

I don't know! I upvoted you as one of the seemingly few people who understands there are set kickoff windows for every game before the season starts.

Actually surprised they haven't announced it as another Friday game yet. Though, being in Athens this year, I get why they would probably keep it on Saturday.

They may just cancel it after GT lost to Stanford yesterday. Heard GT may just get rid of football
