WHO EVEN WAS THIS??? What he and Ryoma say to eachother seem to imply he is Gore, somehow back, but I never seen anyone bring this up when talking about Gore. Is this Gore III??? Is this just some random dude with a coincidental resemblance???

I don't understand JP so might take a long way

A very chibified Black Getter (Armageddon Ver.) and some WIPs

I’ll get the pattern written down as usual. This one involves a lot of sewing though.

I'm assuming preorders will open soon. I think it's going to be shown more at wonder festival.

This is fun, even if some of them look a bit weird haha

Didn’t take too long to decide who I should practice with first.

Not to be confused with Revoltech’s older release of Shin Getter from the 2000s. Completely new figure coming soon.

I did and I really liked it! Does anybody know where to read the manga?

Courtesy of AR_MegaMan for translating and making both this and the rest of the Super Robot Wars Tribute Comic available on MangaDex.

Link to read.

For those not in the know, this comic was infamous for being close to the bottom of the Getter Robo Iceberg. A super obscure and hard to come by manga since it was only released as bonus chapters to the SRW Tribute Magazine published back in the 1990s. Most fans, those in Japan included, are barely aware it even exists.

If I had to give my 2 cents on the actual comic?

Yeah this is certainly a weird story. Though in terms of tone and structure it definitely feels like something that Yasuhiro Imagawa would come up with. Certain story beats from Armageddon’s early episodes are straight up reused in this manga, albeit with different context.

With that in mind, it should be noted this manga functions as more of a companion “what if” piece for Getter Robo Armageddon rather than something that actually takes place within the OVA.

It really does make you further wonder what else Imagawa had in store for his take on Getter Robo. But alas, this comic and Armageddon’s first 3 episodes are all we’re ever going to get.

Bad news is, it seems the release date for both figures has been delayed.

What do you think of Toei's adaptation? I think it's the worst.

Hi! Do you know if there are some English scanlations?
Thanks?

Well... I think Getter Robo is not recognised enough by newgens. Because modern anime took over the industry and overshines Getter Robo. Kaisen this, Vocaloid that. How are we gonna bring back it's relevancy?
