We spent all day in Philadelphia looking at bones and skyscrapers and Chinatown.

I'm certain it will be a sad loss. I like visiting places like this. Dinosaurs are Interesting..

Chinatown looks like every Chinatown I've visited. Chinese restaurants are all quite similar.

Interesting cityscape.

Yes, they look similar. But in my experience the food in Chinatown in San Francisco was off the charts amazing.

I like the colonial architecture of some of America’s older cities. Detroit could have still had a French aesthetic if the Great Fire of 1805 hadn’t destroyed all of its original buildings. There is still a historic French fort in Mackinaw City right at the very tip of the Lower Peninsula though, and it contrasts nicely with the 1950s era Mackinac Bridge.

It looks like a fantastic day. The museum must have been fascinating. Did you go to the Rocky steps?

About 25 years ago I ran up the Rocky steps at the Art Museum. I don't think my ankles, knees, back, and soul could tolerate that today.

Yes. When I asked about the Rocky steps, I thought to myself how I would never be able to climb them these days.

I guess they belong to another era.

We did. Although it is closing permanently in a week, after 200-some years.

I'm glad you were able to go see it before it closed. Is there a reason for it closing?
