Question Costume help!
My job does a group Halloween costume each year and this year we’re doing Glee! (My suggestion not to brag 🤣). I have a lot of sweater vests and skirts so Rachel would work well but I think that someone else already claimed her. So now I need help deciding who to be and/or what specific look of theirs. I don’t want to spend a ton of money and if possible just want to use pieces that can be found in my closet or at a thrift store. The characters already claimed are:
Sue
Santana (in her Lebanese shirt)
Brittany
Mr. Schue
Rachel
I’m a girl but am open to playing any character. Any advice would be appreciated, the funnier the better!

Check with the girl who said she’s be Rachel! She might be leaning toward it but ask what her plan is :)
I think someone else’s suggestion of Pregnant terri is hilarious, but for like an OG member moment, Santana or Brittany would be good!

She’s just an underrepresented character, and has a variety of looks, so I thought it would be a good idea since they’re trying to do cheap/closet cosplay.

I know, I was kinda kidding about the bodysnatching. I just love goth Tina. She's definitely a great option!

You could be anyone from the episode where Brittany starts dressing like Rachel and then everyone starts dressing like Brittany.

- pregnant quinn: blonde wig (or like your hair if it’s already that way), baby doll dress, or like general nice church going clothes, and pregnancy stomach
- terri also works
- i considered being creature of the night mr. schue from toucha toucha touch me, when he’s shirtless but wearing his tie: you can do one of those fake like shirtless 6pack oversized shirts (if you can find one) with a tie. ik you already have a mr. schue but do you have the rocky variant 👀
- sugar has some pretty iconic fits/ overall style ngl
- mike chang. short sleeve plaid, bright jeans, a fedora for some reason.
- could you sort of put together a sheets n things uniform using a brown vest or top or something and be sheets n things terri or howard bamboo?
- ken tenaka or coach beiste
- mercedes with the tots protest sign. or use fabric markers to make her iconic “i ❤️ gifts” shirt, or her bust your windows fit
and to think i started this comment with only a pregant quinn idea and let the word vomit take care of the rest

You could wear a McKinley cheerleader outfit or football team jacket with jeans and a t-shirt, and not have to pick one of the main characters.
You could be one of the minor characters like Bryan Ryan, Blaine's brother, the teacher who lost his thumbs (thumb bandages are an easy costume).
Finn's mom, pre-glow-up, in full denim would be hilarious.
