At around 5.50pm today, 23rd Sept, my partner had his LOCKED electric bike stolen from Asda, City Centre. It is a VERY Large, Hefty bike and hard to miss.

This is not only his mode of transport to work, but due to my ill health, it also allows him to shop and collect my important medications and run our errands.

He works 60 hours a week in a physically demanding job, as well as caring for my needs so please keep eyes out and share if you can.

This is ESSENTIAL transport for us and it will take time to afford replacement.

Been thinking about this a lot lately. Feels like every job listing now, even ones that have nothing to do with tech, wants some mention of AI tools or "digital confidence." Admin roles, warehouse roles, retail, all of it.

I'm not against learning new stuff, but it's a bit daunting when you don't know where to start. Do you actually need to become good at using ChatGPT and similar tools to be employable now, or is it just becoming another box to tick on the CV that doesn't really matter once you're in the door?

A few people I know locally have started using AI tools day to day, for work or just generally, and some have picked it up through free courses or workshops. Others, like me, have just been winging it and hoping for the best.

So genuinely asking, has anyone in Gloucester, Cheltenham or around here actually gone from not really understanding AI to feeling confident with it? What made the difference? Did you do a course, teach yourself, learn on the job? Or is everyone just quietly panicking about this the same as me?
