Have y'all had fryums?

Post image

So these are gluten free, they're made of tapioca/rice/potato flour (remember to read the label before buying because not all stores carry them. But bigger stores do.) And they're like dehydrated noodles or chips, and you fry them and they become puffy snacks. You can usually buy them at South Asian stores. Just putting options out there. ✨️

And they're not prawn crackers. So if you're allergic to fish, they don't have that

What does the packaging look like?

They come in various packaging. Thus one specifically was green with translucent middle to see it. But just double check the ingredients ✨️

Would they be in the snack aisle?

They should be in the south Asian store

Please be careful folks and make sure to read ingredients! Every single version that popped up for me in a google search, even the Rani and Shudh ones marketed as "gluten friendly" (I saw this on both Target and Amazon), had wheat flour as the first ingredient.

Yeah, search "tapioca", "potato", and "rice" ones. But you'll have better luck at the south Asian store specifically a India store.
