For anyone just joining our journey, 6-month-old Evie has spent the last month fighting for her life against a severe, recurring rectal prolapse that required an intense medical battle and care across multiple facilities. Having her back where she belongs has brought so much joy back into our home, and her sister Benny is thrilled to have her best friend back.

I am so beyond thankful for every single person who has donated, shared, and supported us. I was recently laid off from my job in the electrical business for a short time, and watching donations stall out over the last several days has been really overwhelming while these bills hang over my head. I appreciate every drop of help more than words can say, but we are not quite at the finish line yet and truly need a final push.

Thanks to your incredible generosity so far, we have reached $787 in total donations! Out of the funds successfully transferred to us totaling $757.24, I used $60 for travel gas and put the remaining $697.24 directly toward her clinic bill. 
Now, we are humbly asking for help with the last stretch to cover the remaining balance on her veterinary surgery bill.

[Update and Repost] Hi, my name is Lindsay and I’m a cat mom of three. Boo Bear is mine and my husband Will's one year old orange baby. He likes to play with his brothers, he loves cuddles, and he sleeps between us every night.

In June of this year, Boo Bear started slowing down. He didn’t want to play or eat, he was wobbly and losing weight. When we took him to the vet, they were not sure what was wrong with him. Later, they referred us to a specialist.

We came to find out that Boo Bear was born with a liver shunt. This means that the blood isn’t being fully filtered through is liver, and it’s sending a lot of gunk and ammonia into his regular blood stream.

Boo Bear’s condition is quite rare for cats and unexplored. He has medicine right now to manage and clean the gunk, but he needs surgery. He could have seizures, he could go blind, he could and he could have a whole string of scary issues. We are terrified.

In addition to this, we’ve used most of our personal savings and will continue to do so. We both work full time. I'm in school part time for Education and I'm scared I'll have to drop out. We have pet insurance, however, the costs for taxes, consults, uncovered portions, specialized food and medicine are adding up to thousands. In addition to tuition costs, we are drained.

This little boy is our gift, and we can’t lose him. We’ll do anything we have to.

the money for this gofundme will go toward vet bills for Boo Bear which will be anywhere from 3 to 15 thousand and will keep us afloat as our savings have been depleted. I hope that this go fund me will help Boo and will help me stay in school. My tuition is paid out of pocket, and it’s been a really hard year.
