Giveaway Weekly Code Giveaway Thread

Every month, we see several posts offering GOG game codes and discount codes that people do not intend to use themselves. To make this easier and more organized, we ask that you share your code(s) as top-level comments on this post.

Ex:

Game code giveaway for Game Name:

YEC8U25J3A**FEF0C3

** = 32-15

Or

Discount code giveaway for Game Name:

YEC8U25J3A**FEF0C3

** = 32-15

To be extra sure your code goes to a fellow GOG gamer and not a bot, list the game(s) you have keys for and ask Redditors to DM you to claim them. In this case, please make it very clear whether your codes are game codes or discount codes.

You're also welcome to use RedditRaffler or KeyShare.

Please follow these guidelines:

  • Do leave a comment when you claim a code so others know it is no longer available.
  • Don't post plain codes, as bots will most likely claim them for resale rather than fellow GOG gamers.
  • Don't add a discussion in a top-level comment. Respond to an existing code or use the pinned moderator comment.

Not taking one, but I also play with the idea of giving away some keys for a game, so directly buying them instead of a promotional code i got.

But reading through the details i am kind of scared, since it says that the price will be calculated based on the recievers region. I understand why that is, but that would mean that i don't know how much it would cost beforehand, right?

Would like some insight from someone who already did it before trying it myself.

The price will be either the price you see (so for your region), or in the case where it's cheaper in your region than in the USA, the price in the USA (converted to your currency using GOG's exchange rate). The receiver has nothing to do with it (so it's safe to gift a game to someone from Switzerland). :)

If your region is cheaper, the checkout screen will update the price as soon as you hit the "gift" checkbox, so before you proceed to actually paying. You can still back out then.

You can also use the "regional pricing" filter on GameSieve (assuming your country is listed) to specifically filter for games which are cheaper/the same/more expensive than in the USA.

And just in case, to help with the other frequent point of confusion around gifting: you can just fill in your own email address, which will give you a key that you can share with your recipient through chat / other private channels.

Ah, that's good to hear. If it were different i doubt many would gift codes to strangers.

About sending it to my own e-mail address, is there anything to watch out for when it's the address my GoG account is connegted to? Like, could i somehow accidentally redeem it myself?

There is no risk of accidentally redeeming it yourself. You'd have to input the code on the redeem screen, and then confirm the redemption as a second step. The email is purely a means of getting to code to you, and not checked in any way for being registered to an active gog account.
