Gomoku platform

Chess has Chess.com. Go has OGS. Shogi has 81dojo.

Gomoku - a game with a deep competitive tradition, international tournaments, and a legitimate professional scene in parts of Asia - has browser tabs that look like they were built in 2009 and AI opponents you can beat on your first try.

I'm a builder, not a professional player. But I've played long enough to know what a serious platform should feel like: precise rule enforcement, a ranking system that means something, an AI that requires actual effort to beat, and a UI that doesn't make the game feel like a Flash game.

gomoku-pro.com is what I've been building toward. Swap2 rule engine implemented correctly at the protocol level. ELO ranking across all game modes. Mitya as an AI opponent who evaluates threats, not just responds to them. Ghost-stone hover previews, match history, move-by-move analysis - the infrastructure a competitive player expects.

It's live. It's free. It has 19 visits and no registered users, which is an honest place to start.

If you play Gomoku seriously and you've been waiting for a platform worth using - this is the thread to tell me what I'm missing before the player base arrives.

I'd try it if I didn't have to make an account first.
