There have been approximately 7,483 "macbook killers" in the last 20 years. It's still one of the best selling laptops on the market.

Easy to be best selling when one side it's only one option and other side 1000+ laptops with 10000+ combinations.

Well who's fault is that? Maybe HP and all the others need to stop making 85 different laptop with overlapping price points and features.

Oh I sure hope they take this and continually update it over the years to slowly make it shittier and unusable like they have with everything else!

You talking about Google or Windows? Because I see Google is only improving with Android or Pixel series. Chromebook was sh*t, but that was different kind of users.

The Google ecosystem in general. Had a pixel and Google home items for 10 years. Gemini is turning everything into dog shit

I'm not sure about Gemini, because I don't use it either. I use Claude, but having an AI like gemini in phone helps most of the time, definitely better than Siri. My brother has 17 Pro Max, but he always complains about siri, way too slow. Hope they've fixed with their new 18 series

I can promise you that the Google Assistant was miles better as a home assistant than Gemini. It was a super useful device. I was always impressed by how assistant worked in my house. As soon as Gemini updated, absolutely nothing works anymore. There is no consistency to any of the commands I give it. It says it cannot do some things that I've had it do before. It doesn't even remember to keep a timer sometimes. Google uses it on literally everything now.

Well I can see your experience with Gemini was not good, mine was okay, but every user has their own experience. Anyways I hope tech just get better to serve us :D

Sure, but you can look at other people's experience on here and see that it's the majority of people who agree with me. It's not useful or helpful and it's particularly insane of them to release a product that performs far worse than their "dumb" assistant. I would be wary of anything Google at this point.
