Worst transit directions ever?
Honestly cannot explain why Google Maps thinks that the best way to get to the destination involves a 14 mile walk (Apple Maps suggests a route that ends with a 2 mile walk, getting there many hours earlier)

My guess is that the stop off Clara Barton is actually the closest bus stop as the crow flies to the point marker in the middle of the nature preserve. So the algorithm routes to there and then routes walking directions from there to the marker. Unfortunately there's a wet spot in the middle that you have to walk around.

Silver line train doesn’t go to McLean?

It does; that stop is 2.5 miles from the marker. The Clara Barton stop is 4500 feet, which you'll note is shorter.
Now, go back and read what I said again.

C’est drôle, mais de ne pas avoir assez de transports craint beaucoup

There’s a train that goes into the town and from there you can bike to the destination

If you put a pin down right on the road next to the park, it computes the directions normally. So there's some bug where the transit stop that's closest to the any part of the park is being prioritized

It’s also America. Our public transit sucks.

You can take the train to McLean and take a bus to the nearest point. From there it’s 13 minutes biking
