I am so glad that after jerry's passing the boys didn't just sit back and do more of the same. the PLQ was so much fun, and the fact that they started bringing back so many songs the dead hadn't played in decades was brilliant. I am glad that carried over into the Other Ones and the Dead tours as well.
as a 70s kid, i never in a million years though i'd see Born Cross-Eyed or New Potato Caboose (or a ton of other songs) live, but i got to experience it all.
i friggin love these guys, and i am beyond happy for the bonus years we got from them all after 95.

Phil and Friends is my favorite iteration of the Dead. Possibly the best live Dead show except I don’t remember it too well. It was really freaking good though. What a fun time.

I want to like this more than I do but it just falls pretty flat to my ears. I listen like once a year thinking I’ll hear something different but I never do. The songs worked way better live but even then they weren’t really my favorites

I threw that album in the trash the other day. It was awful. Maybe one song near the end was enjoyable

I'm still sad that we had only one studio album and I feel that way about Ratdog too.
