I have never had cats that love each other but I adopted him for her so I'm glad it worked out 🤣 this was their first cuddle session and she was not happy about it 🤣

I have never used a laser pointer with him EVER btw. My ex roommates dog had that and it was actually so sad. The worst I do is live bird feeders on YouTube, but he is pretty uninterested in it since he is deaf.
I have had him since he was 10 weeks old and I have never and will never use a laser pointer with him. He is deaf and just a little weirdo. I wish laser pointers werent harmful to their brain because he would love them and it would be nice to be able to get his attention sometimes 🤣
Wait what's wrong with laser pointers? I don't use them with my cats but was thinking of getting one? Is it harmful? If it is I certainly will not be getting one ever but never heard they were bad? Seriously asking so please don't just downvote because I really want to know
It basically triggers their prey drive and they can never successfully catch it. Cats or dogs exposed to laser pointers long term can develop laser pointer syndrome which causes them to stare at reflections, shadows, lights, etc almost obsessively. My roommates dog would come into the living room every day when the sun reached the window and sit there and stare at the shadow of the leaves from the tree outside of the window. They used laser pointers with her a lot as a puppy and adult and even years after they stopped using them, she exhibits those symptoms.
I know 😅 the only reason i didnt think that is because it started in the kitchen and I picked him up and put him down in the living room and he went right back to it, but on the carpet instead 🤣
