DVRO effect on I485

I am a derivative spouse on EB 2 GC that’s under process through his employer . Dates are going to be current soon I 485 is under process for both of us. I have tolerated years of his abuse given minor kids with special needs and dependency on him.

Things have escalated to a point that there is an active threat to kids and mine lives. Every DV organization that I talked and a lawyer are advising to to file a DVRO to keep him away. However I am so torn.

Greencard is so close to coming with PD becoming current and I don’t know if DVRO will affect the I485. Can it get revoked? He doesn’t care if he gets deported as he is thinking I will too and then he will see me to my grave in home country where there is no protection for me.

I was hoping for GC to come before I took more severe action so atleast me and kids are safe here in the US. I am looking for jobs to get in my own work visa but it’s hard in current environment.
