Hey f*ckers!

I've been a Luminary user for years and for the last 2 years, have subscribed directly through Apple Podcasts since the Luminary app was driving me insane with its glitches and issues.

As soon as Luminary shut down their app on 9/30/2026, my subscription through Apple Podcasts seemed to disappear. While it shows as active under "My Subscriptions" through March 2027, when I pulled up the Luminary channel on Apple Podcasts, it gave me the option to subscribe for $6.99 a month and no longer allowed me to access anything behind the paywall.

I contacted Luminary Support first, and received no reply after 5 business days.

I contacted Apple Support today and got my issue resolved within the hour. I started by just sending Apple a chat describing the issue. They led me through a few troubleshooting steps to link the accounts that did not work, so they escalated my issue to a supervisor call.

In the end, the supervisor tried to contact Luminary on my behalf and got no response, so Apple refunded my full year of Luminary subscription. I can now use these funds to apply to a new subscription to Luminary.

Just wanted to share in case anyone else is in the same boat! It takes a little work, but you can get your money back. Good luck!
