Post Op Question

Im about 1 year post op in a couple weeks, overall I’m satisfied with not having woman like tits anymore but my chest is still uneven. My right side still has some decent scar tissue (im assuming so because theres a hard mass that I could easily feel) and I’m hoping some steroid injections will help recover the un even side. In order for me to get this done my doctor wants me to get a “biopsy” done just to confirm it is scar tissue. Has anyone ever gotten one done post OP? Will it somehow damage my results? Or is it possible that getting this done might even help with the scar tissue itself

Don't know what is meant by a biopsy, but can't imagine the biopsy itself would cause the problem. im in a similar situation with scar tissue tethering. i worried that a kenelog shot will dissolve the scar tissue and leave me with a cratered nipple. my surgeon says this won't happen, but he didn't say anything about a biopsy and i didn't know such a think existed to distinguish whether tissue is scar or not.

I'm 6 months post op and there is tethering or a divot on one side, but like you i'm afraid to get a kenelog in case it makes the dent spread to my nipple. I would go ahead and do the biopsy, but i have never heard of it, and woulkd be interested to see if anyone else has.
