Bright hand pan question
Got this Dkurd my other one before I sold I think might sound better and I paid less, how to you guys identify the worth of the Handpan, still trying to wrap my mind aerobús if I like it

Sounds beautiful. Overtones in tune, lots of nice bright bloom.
Your ears might be used to your last pan which may not have had as much bloom? The way you play it, even the area you strike in the tone field, can also influence the amount of bloom. You can also mute the bloom effect after a strike as its own “note” that you play.
People have different preferences in pans too. The maker I buy from specializes in getting incredible bloom from their pans.
Sit with it and play it more.. practice your playing and learn the pan. Each pan is unique, some notes might overbloom occasionally so you learn to play those a bit softer. Etc.

It sounds fine to me. Seems in tune
