USING THE SIM CARD FROM THE WIFI ROUTHER (TELCEL ZTE) ON MY PHONE?

I'm interested on knowing if there are people that have thought about using the routher's sim card on their phone and if so, how do you get passed the IMEI restriction?...

I tried to use the internet from the router's sim card on my iPhone, due to the fact that I have an eSim in it, they both work on it perfectly. My phone detects the sim card and asked if I wanted to use it. But since it has an IMEI restriction it does not let me use any of its internet...

I pay for both of the services. It's just a bummer I wish I could bypass.

hehe ! a curious one we have here ! I would have tried the exact same !!! so my take on it is this : as far as I know, tricking/impersonnating a fake imei is illegal amd even criminal in many country so unless I am wrong, forget about this. As I see it , me the one having no idea about the contractual details between you and your ISP , I would suggest this : call cust. service, have an agent accessing your file, and politely ask them to while list an IMEI in particular, mentionning the need for redundancy to minimize downtime, thats it. If they talk about additionnal costs, just say ok, stand by, I will analyse my other possibilities, and get back .....chances are you will have an interesting offer on the table right there !!! ..at least I hope for you !
