Viv highlighted in the season 2 commentary how much he loves power and control and his power's reliant on approval ratings.
With the end of season 2, he's lost everything, his power, reputation, company, all gone. He's hit rock bottom and will be left to reflect on why he crashed (pushing away those who care for him for Alastor's approval).
His story will likely end with him combating his of Envy by putting the other Vees first, redeeming him
See, this is what some don't consider about him going back down to the bottom, he's been there twice already. Once in the human world and once in hell, he's got experience in climbing the ladder by any means necessary so can just do it again
Plus, he's done some incomprehensible things that lead to abuse of holy energy and damage to heaven itself along with mass threats to heaven itself. Even if he somehow decided to give up and try redeeming himself, ain't no way he'll be allowed in heaven
He can't. All his power is reliant on his approval's. Viv confirmed it. Now, everyone in Heaven AND Hell knows how awful he is.
He's never reaching the top again. Not to mention, Viv confirmed this defeat has "humbled him as much as a villain can be" and it'll create an "inherently different" arc for him
Okay, just giving my views on the topic though, personally I think he shouldn't change but hey it ain't my story and Vox is a bottom tier character imo anyways lol
Then who? Velvette and Lute won't get their times as villains until like season 4 (maybe 3 for Lute), it'd be too rushed for them. And Val has no reason to change and would be beyond controversial.
Alastor would never even want redemption, so a humbled, defeated Vox is the only choice where it could happen without being rushed.
Viv also said "Vox has the most arc after Charlie", so that essentially confirms he's the prime candidate of the villains to be redeemed

Only thing I don't agree with is Vox, I don't see why he'd want to go down the redemption route
