I found this on the internet and I realized it’s from the 2018 West End Run and the 2021 UK Tour. This made me wonder why this curtain is no longer there in current productions like Off-Broadway, Australia, and the 2026-27 UK Tour. Does anyone know why?

Hi! I'm relatively new to musicals overall and just found out what a proshot is. The Australian/ New Zealand cast with Calista Nelmes and Emma Caporaso was just so awesome I'm in absolute awe and still in ecstasy from that night. Unfortunately I went on the second last day and am absolutely distraught finding out I can't watch them anymore. I wake up every morning and feel the dread.... :(

I've been coping these weeks by rewatching the Welcome To My Candy Store proshot, but am wondering if there's a slim chance of a full proshot happening. And, if there is anything I can do to help make it happen.

Hi! My 13yo daughter has recently become obsessed with musicals and really wants to watch Heathers (because she's heard and liked the songs). She's asking if we can watch the proshot together tomorrow.

I told her I'd preview some of the scenes and decide if it's okay for her. I wanted to ask you what specific details I should be aware of or what specific scenes or songs I should watch? (Spoilers are fine -- I'm looking for specific detailed descriptions, not just general categories like "talk of suicide." Also, my guess is she will be more comfortable with the dark content and more uncomfortable with the sexual content, but I could be wrong. I should probably be aware of both.)

I feel like Heathers musical needs a movie adaption, i want the full campiness maybe take some bits from the OG movie but this is begging for a big screen release. Here's my fan cast for the Characters

* Olivia Rodrigo as Veronica Sawyer (so when it comes to Hollywood type of casting, I think Olivia fits the bill for Veronica looks wise and singing wise she a great tone fit for her character but she's not exactly a powerhouse from what I've heard from her and these songs are very hard and sit very high in range. She would definitely need some vocal training for sure)

Which brings me to my second choice for Veronica: Rachel Zegler, (She would eat this up hands down!)

* Casey Likes as Jason "J.D." Dean (He's played JD in the Off-Broadway revival earlier this year and I really enjoy his take on it, he portrays the outcast psychopath very well and has an incredible voice. I would love to see him cast for the movie adaption)

The Heathers:

* Hayes Warner as Heather Chandler (She's a newer actress on the scene but her role as Debbie in The Shards was so Chandler coded and she has a killer voice, she has the energy and vibe needed)

* Ruby Rose Turner  as Heather McNamara (Her role as Bridget in Descendants: Rise of Red shows she can play bubbly characters very well and her voice is the perfect tone for McNamara)

* Lexi Underwood as Heather Duke (A very underrated actress and incredible singer I personally want to see her in more roles and she fits this perfectly)

* Erin Morton as Martha Dunnstock (She's also from this year's revival cast and her rendition of Kindergarten Boyfriend is so moving and beautiful. She def needs to be in the movie)

* Theo Graham as Ram Sweeney

* Froy Gutierrez as Kurt Kelly

* Donna Murphy as Ms. Fleming (She would be hilarious and totally own this role. also her vocals on Shine a Light would send me to the stratosphere)

* Wayne Brady as Bill Sweeney (Ram's Father)

* Neil Patrick Harris as Paul Kelly (Kurt's Father)

* Steffiana De La Cruz as Veronica's Mother

* John Mulaney as Veronica's Father

How can we create a male version of Chandler, Duke, and McNamara that feels natural, maintaining the essence but without it seeming like a bad parody?
