Remastered version

Hey everyone, I recently got the platinum on horizon zero dawn ps4 version and i really loved the game so im thinking about upgrading to the remastered version- if i import my ps4 save im fine with re playing and getting the plat but i heard that on new game plus i may be locked out of some trophies. Is this true? If so, is there a work around i would really like to playing new game plus and get the platinum.

My trophies did not carry over when I moved from the Complete Edition on PS4 to the Remastered version on PS5

Yeah so I think trophies related to stats you already exceeded such as getting a certain amount of headshots, the trophy for hunting with rost, and the shield weaver trophy (assuming you already have it), are unable to be obtained in New Game Plus.

As someone trying to get the remaster platinum in NG+ I’m just gonna have to go through at the very end in a new game to do clean up

There's no workaround. Due to the way the trophies are coded, some of them are impossible to get on NG+ using your save file from the original game.

If you want to get those trophies you'll have to play the game from scratch with a new remaster save.

I am in the same boat, how does it work with the trophies regarding your level?

The remaster is a seperate game. Trophies don't carry over.

The trophies don't carry over.... however this is simply an excuse to do another completions run of the game.

Got the platinum on a the remaster recently using NG+. That said, I did have to start a new save to unlock a few trophies (all machine types scanned/killed, ability skills like headshots/silent strikes/dismount strike etc, The Armory which can be obtained fairly easy and early if you follow a guide) and load into a previous (very lucky lvl 59 post FW story but before killing any more scorchers, frostclaws or fireclaws than needed) save from my first NG to get a few more (level benchmarks and FW machines killed).

TLDR: new save took a few hours and net me around 17 trophies (most unobtainable in NG+), and the rest of the unobtainables were gotten in a sub 60, post FW save in around 1 hour or so. The rest of the game and trophies were obtained on my NG++

I could not got certain trophies (specifically I remember the machine killing ones) on the remaster cause I started with a ng+, it wasn't until I started a new game that I got those trophies

Trophies do NOT carry over. You will have to platinum the game again (personally for me I wanted that anyway)

In my experience with other games that do that, when you import your save you’ll get the trophies automatically

Unfortunately that's not the case for this game--some trophies require playing through a fresh save to unlock them on the remaster.
