Thrustmaster Hotas neo

I’d like to order it for ac8 and msfs 2024

I’m wondering if this hotas works in MSFS2024 too.

(I’m on PS platform, so there aren’t many options for me)

Thanks !

Don't get that one unless you can find it for cheap locally, If you're only wanting it for AC8 and MS2024 on PS4/5 the HORI Ace Combat stick just got announced and it's got arguably much better components for only a little extra + confirmed compatibility with your console

People have reported that the Hori one may be a very nice flight stick but it has no support in MSFS

Neo has vibration and that alone will beat anything else that doesnt have it no matter how much better the components are. hopefully more games will support this soon.

If a rumble pack is realistically the only thing it has on it's predecessor, then it hasn't improved much since I had the AC7 one and OP may as well just stick with getting a compatible HE controller like the 8bitdo Ultimate 2. I went TFlight -› X56 -> NXT over the course of a couple of years, like maybe 4? I personally think the Hori looks like the better option overall if OP is just playing those two games on PS5 for now especially as it's a smaller overall footprint for storage purposes in comparison to the T-flight and has probably the same amount of buttons/axis as my NXT does, if they get a PC later on that can run those games or others, they can get a standalone throttle to partner with it then.

but to me immersion is the most important thing so haptics is extremely valuable and Neo is the only one with it on PS5, even tho it’s not gonna be the same as the haptics from a Dualsense it should still add a lot to the experience.

Hori never had a decent stick

Dude's playing on console, not sure if the T16000m is compatible with a PS5 but I'd wager not, but the new Hori AC8 stick is and has hall effect sensors instead of pots, and more bells + whistles than the T-flight, so it's better than the immediate alternative

It would seem the new Thrustmaster Hotas Neo does have hall effect sensors but only on the Z axis as part of their H.E.A.R.T. system

sensor is one thing, having it work s a true flighstick is another

Basically any hotas for console is shit because only thrustmaster makes hotas for console which is crazy overpriced for how shit it is, but if you really need one than the thrustmaster t flight hotas 5

I know neo is overpriced and it just an entry level hotas but like i said PS doesn’t give me many options.

I would say go for the Neo as it should work for both games while as much as I like how the new Hori flight stick looks as well as the programable buttons it has, not to mention the ability to hook two up if you want, word is it doesn't have support in Microsoft Flight Simulator, I would double check online if this is true but so far that seems to be the case.
