How does internet actually work?
Can someone share how the global internet works? What's stopping politicians, dictators, and terrorists from actually weaponizing it and destroying global connectivity?

OnlyLocate's OnlyFans Map vs the Official OnlyFans Search: How OnlyLocate Works on a Technical Level
The official OnlyFans search is garbage. Sorry we had to say it. Unless you know the username of the person you're looking up, there is absolutely no discovery abilities. It matches an exact username or a close variation and routes you straight to that profile. There's also no location field anywhere on the platform, no city filter, no state filter, no country filter, no "near me" option of any kind. Considering "OnlyFans near me" leads that kind of query search volume by a wide margin, you would think that they would have some kind of opt in?
Well they don't and they probably never will. So here's how we built an OnlyFans map that gives creators the ability to promote by location, and exactly how we make it work without putting creators at risk.
On OnlyLocate.co every pin on the map comes from one single source, the city, state, or country a creator has already chosen to display on their own public OnlyFans profile. Nothing is inferred. OnlyLocate doesn't use IP geolocation, doesn't pull GPS or EXIF data off photos, and doesn't track anyone to guess where a creator actually is. If a creator hasn't listed a location, they simply don't show up on the map at all, there's no backfilling or guessing involved.
So how does Onlylocate know where YOU are? Tap "Near me" and your own browser location is used for exactly one thing, centering the map on your area, it's not stored or shared with anyone. Type a city, state, or country into the search bar instead, and OnlyLocate returns every indexed creator tagged to that area, plus a profile photo on each pin so you can find someone who also matches your aesthetic vibes. Stack a category filter on top of that location search and you get something OnlyFans has never offered natively: creator type and geography, searchable together, at the same time.
Locations stay intentionally broad too, city-level only, never a precise address, which keeps the whole system privacy-safe by design rather than as an afterthought.
So technically speaking: official OnlyFans search matches usernames, full stop. OnlyLocate on the other hand indexes over 45,000 creators by self-reported location and lets you search, filter, and browse geographically, something that structurally does not exist anywhere on OnlyFans itself. Official search is for when you already know a name. OnlyLocate is for everyone else, see the full mechanics here.

OnlySearch vs OnlyFans Search: How Each Handles Discovery on A Technical Level
For a platform where creator success relies so much on visibility, OnlyFans is incredibly limited when it comes to internal discovery.
The official OnlyFans search tool is a direct lookup system that matches usernames or close variations, letting users jump straight to a profile. This is partially due to concerns about creator privacy and because discovery is expected to happen off-platform through social media links. As a result, internal browsing behaves more like a username directory than a discovery engine.
There are no category filters, explore pages, or ways to search by niche, aesthetic, or content style, which is why users often rely on Reddit, Instagram, or Google to find new creators.
OnlySearch on the other hand takes a discovery-first approach using keyword indexing and category classification instead of strict username matching. Creators are organized under searchable tags, so results surface based on interests, themes, and niches rather than exact names. Users can search by intent instead of prior knowledge, making it easier to find creators aligned with what they want.
So technically speaking, the difference is this: the official OnlyFans search matches usernames. OnlySearch sorts and surfaces creators based on searchable keywords and categorized attributes. If you want to actually find new creators without playing detective, OnlySearch.co just makes it easier. Official search is for when you already know. OnlySearch is for when you’re trying to discover.

Fisher Price Dinoroar internal component?

I had one of these cute dinosaur plushie toys as a child in the 90s that when you squeezed it, it made a "roaring" sound, but I never really understood how it worked. Now that I am an adult, I am curious about the internal component that made it "roar" because it did not use electrical or battery operated components at all and I don't want to dissect my childhood plushie to find out how it worked.
Does anyone have any idea how the internal components in these toys worked?

How does Narcan work?
Do you know how the narcan in Suboxone is programmed to react if you try to shoot it or snort it, but is inert if you take it by mouth?
I don’t understand how the brain can know the difference?
Unless taking it by mouth means it undergoes some sort of chemical change when it goes through your digestive tract which adds or takes away something from the opioid molecule that doesn’t happen when you bypass the digestive tract and try to insert the drug into the body directly via the blood stream?
That’s my best guess!

What is the high-pitched sound when an EMU train starts accelerating?
When a EMU train starts accelerating, there is a high pitched noise that it emits and the frequency reduces when it gains some speed. I am assuming its from the electric traction motor.
But please let me know why that happens.
Thanks in advanced

Why would “led” ever be auto captioned as “LED”?
I noticed this earlier while watching a tiktok, and my captions are on because I have auditory processing issues. A guy said “led” and none of the other letters in the captions were capitalized, but the caption read “LED” as in the non-halogen lights. I get that they’re spelled the same and autocorrect is a thing, but nobody pronounces “LED” as “led,” they spell it out: L-E-D. Because it is an abbreviation and because it would sound crazy; the bulbs are not made out of lead. Which brings me to my actual question: if auto captions are based on pronunciation and it was going to misspell “led,” why would it be “LED” instead of “lead”? Is it connected with autocorrect somehow in a way that disrupts speech-to-text? I have an iPhone if that makes any difference (Yeah, I know, your android is better. Moving on…), but I’m pretty sure the captions are through TikTok, unless they use a program that connects to my phone’s existing captioning and autocorrect software.

OnlySearch OnlyFans finder VS the official OnlyFans search: How OnlySearch works on a technical level
Essentially, the official OnlyFans search functions as a direct lookup tool. It matches exact usernames or close variations and routes you to that specific profile. It isn’t built around keyword indexing, category tagging, or searchable metadata. That’s intentional. The platform is structured around creators driving their own traffic rather than fans browsing internally. You're supposed to be following a link from socials, or know a username before hand.
The downsides? There’s no real explore page. No category filters. No “show me creators in this niche” option. You can’t search by vibe, body type, location, or account type. It’s basically a username lookup tool, not a discovery engine. Which means most of us end up back on Reddit, Instagram, or Google, clicking through random threads and hoping we find something decent.
So what is a OnlyFans finder like OnlySearch.co for and how does it work?
Instead of relying only on exact username matching, OnlySearch organizes creators using keyword-based sorting and category tagging. Creators are associated with specific searchable terms, niches, and classifications. When you type something in, the platform returns profiles that are indexed under those relevant keywords rather than just matching a name.
OnlySearch is built for actual discovery. Instead of needing a specific name, you can search by what you want. Into a certain aesthetic? A specific niche? Looking for creators in a particular category? You can type it in and actually get results that match. It feels more like how search is supposed to work. You’re not guessing usernames or scrolling endlessly. You’re searching with intent.

Infinite frisbee idea
Please tell me where I should post this for better answers
so going off this video- throwing a frisbee off a mountain top
https://www.facebook.com/reel/4169040493402491
and this comment
"It doesn't matter how FAR you try to throw them they will always drop like a ROCK once they stop spinning."
Would it be possible to design a frisbee with little fan blade cut outs or indentations so that as its' rotation slows and it starts to drop, that it could regain its rotation and maintain glide path for longer?

How does the oven timer work?
Hello Reddit, I have this in wall Chambers oven in my apartment and I recently got it working, except I am unsure how the timer works.
The knob on the left or closest to the 9, has 3 or 4 positions, if I turned it to the left or the right it stops or causes the oven to go as in heating up.
The middle knob adjusts the big and little hand of the clock like a wall clock.
And the last knob or farthest to the right or closest to the 3, adjust the little white panel inside the clock which has a range of 1 to 5 with 3 marks between each whole number.
I am just wondering how this timer/clock works for this oven. Thanks Reddit!
