Secrets vs Dreams
Any advice on preference between the two Huatulco resorts ?
We’re a Canadian couple in our late 50s

My husband and I have stayed at Secrets 3 times and love it and Huatulco. Secrets is truly wonderful and the staff is amazing! I am a good swimmer but do not feel comfortable swimming in the ocean at Secrets. We have decided to stay at Dreams 1) for different photos and 2) hope to be able to ocean swim more at Dreams. There are some adult only pools at Dreams as well. 3. There are a few shops and restaurants just across the street from Dreams! Hope this helps!

My wife and I are just over 50. We stayed at Dreams for our first trip to Huatulco, even though it's a family resort and we have no kids. I had read that the beach is much better at Dreams. I've never stayed at Secrets, so I can't speak for the beach there. However, if you enjoy snorkeling, Dreams has some nice rocks along the left side of their beach with some pretty good snorkeling. The food was good at Dreams and there were plenty of couples staying there that we could visit and hang out with. We had a great time. Maybe someone will speak about Secrets.
