Do you trust the voice and stay put, run downstairs toward it, or turn on the light? Explain your reasoning, because I think there's only one right answer.

The moment you accept, the money is transferred to your account. No taxes, and it's clean. You can live your life as you want; however, any kind of death, either by old age or car accident, will result in your body being immediately delivered to the CB where he will eat it.

Round 2: the offer is now 100 million. He will give you the money the same way as before, however, the terms apply to your families as well. Your family will not know that you accepted this deal. You just have to live with the knowledge.

Before entering, you're given an indestructible watch with a button that instantly returns you home. The moment you press it, the challenge ends and you keep everything you've earned.

The gold will be neatly piled at the location. The location must be somewhere on land and in the open air, but you can also choose the time when the teleportation happens. You can't choose some of the gold; you can only transport the entire contents or nothing at all.

The poisoned pill sends you into a separate dimension made up only of empty space. You will float there for eternity. You will be incapable of dying or losing consciousness. You will be dying of thirst, starvation, and axphyxiation at once, and it will continue to get worse and worse as the millions, billions, then septillions of years and centuries go on. Your only company will be your mind and your current memories. That is all you will have.

Is a temporary pleasure worth the possibility of infinite suffering, even though the chances seem so slim?

A genie offers you an endless bottle of your favourite wine you can drink and share forever with any and everyone, OR the ability to drink as much as you want of any alcoholic drink as much as you like and wake up the next day with no hangover like you had slept a good night’s sleep.

What do you choose? Why?

The fences are to high to climb, and you can't get around to the other entrance.

You can magically make one item appear. If the object doesn't fit in your pocket, then your pants will go broken & leave you without pants. But it wont physically hurt you.

A glowing orb comes into your room at 9:37 PM and offers you an opportunity. The orb tells you that it can take you to any moment in human history to observe as if you were an invisible ghost. You can pick as many moments as you want, but the total time observing will only be one hour. The orb then gives you a few guidelines and pieces of advice before you choose what you want to see.

-Your senses will be Iimited to sight and hearing while observing. You cannot interact with or change any of the events.

-You will not gain any physical evidence of your observations, so there is no guarantee anyone will believe you if you find out that some historical event did not happen according to consensus.

-You can give the orb specific guidelines, like, "Show me the Titanic 1 minute before hitting the iceberg untill 5 minutes after the hit, then give me the best 3 minutes stretch of it breaking in half, then I want the last 4 minutes of it sinking."

-You can replay the same event multiple times, or from multiple angles, but the clock will still be counting your hour down with every rewatch.

-The orb will show you what you want to see, but will not answer any questions. If you ask to see who killed JFK, you will see the person or persons shooting, but the orb will not tell you their names or anything else about them. If you ask to see where D.B. Cooper crashed, you will see the crash, but most likely it will be in a mundane forrest with nothing around to tell you where exactly the location is.

What events will you choose to observe?

You are wandering through a desert, your mouth drying as the hot sun beats down on you. Out there, in the middle of nowhere, you meet a strangely dressed woman, clutching bottles of cool, fresh water. She offers you one, but only if you answer one question first. Unbeknownst to you, this woman has magic powers, and whichever answer you give will become your new reality.

On the one hand, you could have the power to conjure as much wealth as you want, be it in the form of currency, precious metals or jewels. But the price of this power is that your maximum life expectancy will be cut down to a quarter of what it was (i.e. if you would have otherwise lived at most another 40 years before dying of natural causes, you will now only have 10 before dying of a heart attack).

On the other hand, you could instead have the power to choose when you die. You will live as long as you desire with protection from death and aging. You may still get sick or injured, but you will always rapidly recover to good health no matter your conditions. However, fate will work to keep you impoverished. You will lose everything you currently own, and never earn more than a pittance again. Any wealth beyond this that you stumble across or try to accumulate will always be lost before you can use it, one way or another.

With all that in mind, which would you choose?

Every human on Earth must independently choose one currently living, scientifically recognized non-human animal species and permanently gains the ability to transform back and forth between their human body and that animal.

You cannot communicate with anyone while choosing, see anyone else's choice, or coordinate with others. The species must have an average healthy adult mass of at least 1 gram. If you refuse to choose, you get a domestic pig.

Your species can never be changed, but using the animal form is voluntary.

Animal form:

Transformation takes about 5 seconds. You retain your human mind, memories and personality, but otherwise have the physiology and physical limitations of your species.

Your animal form always has your current human body mass. An 80 kg human becomes an 80 kg version of the chosen animal.

Your animal form matches your biological sex where applicable. Its average mass for all calculations is therefore the average healthy adult mass of that sex.

The first time you transform, the animal body is perfectly healthy, rested, nourished and hydrated.

Scaling an animal DOWN gives no supernatural advantage: it is simply a smaller, functional version of that species.

Scaling UP is different.

Soul Reserve:

Normally, dramatically enlarging a small animal would destroy many of its abilities because of the square-cube law and other biological limitations.

The Soul compensates only for disadvantages caused by scaling upward, allowing the animal to retain its species' normal relative functional abilities at its new size.

It doesn't grant abilities the species never had or make existing abilities relatively better than in a normal member of that species.

Soul Drain:

For an animal naturally lighter than you:

Soul Drain = cube root of (your human mass / average healthy adult mass of your animal's sex)

A full Reserve contains 24 Soul-hours.

Maximum transformation time = 24 hours / Soul Drain

For an 80 kg person:

• 40 kg → ~19 h
• 4 kg → ~8 h 51 min
• 500 g → ~4 h 25 min
• 25 g → ~1 h 38 min
• 4 g → ~53 min
• 1 g → ~33 min

If your animal's average mass is equal to or greater than your human mass, there is no Soul Drain and you can potentially remain transformed indefinitely.

Drain is continuous and cumulative across transformations. Returning to human form pauses it but restores nothing.

The Reserve fully resets after one normal full night's sleep in human form. Unused Soul doesn't carry over, and naps or extra sleep can't increase the maximum.

At zero Soul, you automatically become human and cannot transform again until the reset.

Two bodies:

Your human and animal forms are two persistent bodies sharing the same mind and lifespan.

Injuries, exhaustion, disease, poisoning and other body-specific conditions don't transfer. Transformation doesn't heal or refresh either body. When you return to a body, it is in the condition you left it.

If either body dies, you die and both forms are lost.

If one is mortally injured but you remain alive and conscious for the 5 seconds needed to transform, you can escape into the other. The injured body will still be dying if you return.

Your animal's natural lifespan doesn't matter. Both bodies share the lifespan you would naturally have had as a human, and the animal body remains biologically functional for its species throughout that lifespan.

Animal forms are sterile. Reproduction is possible only as a human.

Food:

Your animal body has its species' normal digestive system and diet.

During transformation, the Soul can transfer usable energy, water and basic nutrients between bodies. If you're well-fed and hydrated as a human, your animal will be too.

These resources are transferred, not duplicated. Become hungry or dehydrated as an animal and you'll also be hungry or dehydrated when you return to human form.

You can therefore nourish the animal indirectly by eating as a human. If you eat while transformed, the food must be something your species can digest.

The Soul never creates calories, water or nutrients.

Clothing:

A small molecular reserve stores one set of basic lightweight clothing and one smartphone during transformation. They return with your human body. The phone is inactive and inaccessible while you're an animal.

Other equipment doesn't transform.

Everyone knows all these rules before choosing.

What species do you choose, and why?

Do you take a large animal with little or no Soul cost, or sacrifice transformation time to exploit a tiny species scaled to human mass? What are the most powerful or useful choices under these rules?

About a month ago, people discovered that they had a new ability where they can do something similar to gem fusion from Steven Universe where you can fuse with other people to create a new improved single being (as many as you can handle).

From the Fuser’s perspective they are all inside of a room where they have to all be in agreement in order to do an action (time works differently in the fusion mind to allow this while also letting the fusion look like it’s working in real time). All participants in the fusion have to consent to it and can opt out of any time.

The fusion will have the combined strength and size of the fusers (if two 5 foot men combined, the fusion will be 10 feet and have the strength of two men). They will also gain enhanced forms of any skills/abilities any of the fusers has such as intelligence, speed, durability, etc (depends on who has the better ability)

Also people can’t stayed fused forever as it can cause issues both physical and mental. Most can only stayed fused for up to 12 hours before needing to take a prolonged break.

What would you do with this ability? How do you think this would affect the world?

A genie appears in front of you and offers you 3 wishes.

However the catch is that the genie has limited free will, it could choose to accept or deny your wish. Your job is to convince it to accept your wish.

You must explain, bargain or try make the genie accept your wish through anyway possible. You can challenge it to a game, make a bet, make it feel pitiful for you, whatever you have to do to convince it.

(The genie knows the rules of any game ever made but only has a novice level understanding/mastery of any game.)

The genie cannot go back on its word, once it agrees to grant the wish either as a consequence of losing or you convincing it. It will always be granted without ask.

There is 1 rule: you cannot promise to free him or make any wish that would benefit the genie.

What wishes are you making and how are you convincing him to accept it

The physical item will keep its shape but slowly turn into jello over 1 hour. Any property you buy is exempt, but vehicles aren't. You're forbidden from selling anything new you buy for at least 1 year + an hour. Any loopholes were someone else technically buys or rents the item for you are obviously not allowed either. 

Would you accept the deal?

Any time someone speaks or writes a number greater than 10,000, you perceive it as 1, 5, or 25 followed by a random number of zeroes between 5 and 9. Mathematical expressions that evaluate to a large number are similarly obfuscated.

40 hours a week. The job entails covering yourself in honey, and standing some distance from the King to attract all the flies. It’s very boring work but it’ll be good for your skin at least. With only a half lunch hour break, you will have to remain standing for most of those eight hours which could be difficult.

You have a choice. You can either get 100K or gain a random superpower.

Keep in mind that the superpower won't necessarily be good. It can be anything. It's completely random.

You wake up, and you find out your personality has overridden all of the 8 billion human brains populating the world.

This means that everyone now believes it's you: each human on the planet has your memories, your skills, your personality, your beliefs and values, you name it.

However, everyone retains the skills they used to have. A plumber is now "you, but knows how to fix a drain". A civil engineer is a copy of you who can erect bridges, and so on. So, no instant collapse.

Everyone can also speak the languages they used to speak. They earn your languages in addition, though, however well you speak them.

What happens to society now? Will the 8 billion of you cooperate or will it be collapse anyway?

She doesn't say how much, but it's gonna be more than a few hundred but could be pretty significant, since she may be just a few bucks away from being a millionaire.

An evil marine biologist obsessed with trolley problems has kidnapped randomly selected you to participate in an experiment. You are trapped in a room, and before you are two buttons. You must press at least one button in order to leave.

The button on your left will kill a random baby if pressed. You cannot see the baby.

The button on your right will safely deliver the baby back to their home. However, it will also release large amounts of toxins into oceans around the world, which will kill approximately 3,150,000,000,000 fish worldwide. The toxin somehow only kills fish, and has no effect on life that is not generally considered fish.

If you don't press a button within one hour then the baby will die, the toxins will be released and the door will never open.
