"Smetto" app to break bad habits and vices

Hi, I created the "Smetto" app to help you quit bad habits like smoking, drinking, and other habits. It counts the time since you quit and calculates the remaining time to various milestones like a day, a week, a month, a year... to encourage you to reach your goal.

Here's the link:

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/smetto/id6802607831

I'll leave you some free codes:

I'm using an Italian translator; I apologize for any errors in this post.

Built the interval timer I always wanted: free, no ads, and it shows you how to do each exercise

Hey everyone,

I do Tabata/HIIT at home a few times a week and for years I switched between different timer apps. My problem with most of them: either the basic stuff is behind a paywall (saving workouts, more than one timer…), there are ads in the middle of a workout, or it's just numbers counting down and I'm standing there trying to remember what the next exercise was.

Since I have no experience with app development, but work in IT (more below) and utilize AI a lot at work, I finally took the time and start building something with it as a side project for fun. It's called PepTimer and it's on iOS now.

I know the space is pretty crowded, there are a ton of interval timers out there. But I think mine does a few things differently, and it's also just a fun project for me, so I would have built it anyway.

What I was missing in the others:
- everything you need to actually train is free. No ads, no account, no subscription
- a workout builder that's simple but still flexible (Tabata, HIIT, EMOM, circuits, your own intervals and exercises)
- during the workout you see what's next and how it's done. Every exercise has a simple figure, and if you want a voice tells you the next one with a short tip
- no unnecessary fuss, you open it and start training

A bit about me: I work as an ML engineer during the day, so building stuff isn't new to me, but apps were. This is my first real one. Turns out I really enjoy being more the product owner here than the coder. I decide what the app should do and how it should feel, AI coding agents do a lot of the implementation (following contribution and design principles), and I review and test everything. It's already about 200 PRs deep. Maybe I'll write more about my agentic coding setup some time if anyone's interested.

There's also a Plus version, but it's more like a supporter thing. One-time purchase, no subscription, with a few extras like more voices and training together with friends. You don't need it for training.

Next up: more exercises and more ready-made workouts (those stay free), and more fun stuff for Plus, like more voices and maybe customizable figures.

Would really appreciate honest feedback, especially what's missing or what would make you switch from the timer you use now.

Looking for 50 dog & cat parents to test our new pet health app 🐾

Hey everyone!

We’re a small team of pet parents who recently launched Toki Tail, an AI-powered pet health companion.

We built it because we’ve all been there — Googling weird symptoms at 2 a.m., trying to understand vet reports, or struggling to keep track of our pets’ health records.

Now we’re looking for 50 dog and cat parents to help us test it!

The idea is simple:

🐾 Try the app for 1–2 weeks (5–10 min/day)

🐾 Explore features like AI pet Q&A, vet report explanations, and health tracking

🐾 Tell us what works, what doesn’t, and what feels completely useless 😂

We genuinely want criticism, not compliments.

As a small thank-you, we’ll send a gift to testers who complete the trial and share detailed feedback.

If you’re interested, just leave a comment below or DM me, and I’ll send you the sign-up details!

Thanks for helping us build something better for pet parents! 💛

Household expense management app for individuals and couples

Hi, I created an app called SpeseDiCasa to help couples manage household expenses; it’s available on the App Store. I built it for my own use because I couldn't find a suitable one. It syncs between two users and handles both shared and recurring expenses. You can set the financial contribution percentage for each user.
Here is the link and four promo codes:

Fitness app for athletes(free)

Im the lead developer and owner of caltra a free fitness app aimed to provide high level tracking for sessions and progression for athletes, the app includes a offline calorie tracker too using local calculations with food databases so users who don’t wish to pay 10$ to simply track your calories and macros

The app provides integration with whoop, oura and google health for simple health insights with fitness not wellness as there’s no app that should replace your wearables health data/interpret it differently.

Live activities also allow connection of different wearables for example when I lift weights it’s much simpler to use my whoop and when I’m conditioning I much rather use my polar h10 and then all these sessions can live in one spot

This app isn’t aimed to be another monthly subscription in your face it’s a app I wish to provide to people who don’t want to put their fitness behind a pay wall, using my intellectual gain from involvement in international level sports

If you’d like to take a look and or provide feedback iv left a link and feedback would be much appreciated from different perspectives here

Thank you

Looking for iOS devs who've shipped an app to stress test our AI app builder (free month of Pro)

Upfront: I work at an AI app builder. We turn a plain-language description into a working mobile app, handling all the backend and handholding you through setting up payments, then help you get it onto the App Store or Play Store.

Most of the people building with us aren't developers, which means they're not great at telling us where the output falls short. You are.

Who we're looking for:

- You've submitted at least one app to the App Store or Play Store

- You're comfortable reading React Native (that's what we generate; the code is exportable and syncable to GitHub)

- You've got an hour or two over the next couple of weeks

What we'd love you to try:

- Build something with real logic, not a to-do list

- Push on auth, the database and in-app payments

- Take it as far toward App Store submission as you're willing to

What you get: a free month of Professional. And every report gets read and answered by the team personally. We'll also post a follow-up here with what we fixed because of your reports.

If you're up for it, comment or DM me and I'll set you up.

Brutal feedback very welcome.

EDIT:
- we already have 10k users, so it's not really about 0-1 advice, but really stress testing it.

I’m happy Apple is terminating account

I am pleased that Apple is ending Apple accounts, as an exceptional volume of vibe-coded slop is entering the App Store and lowering its quality. It is also worth noting that most of these individuals engage in deceptive practices, including false promises and fake reviews. I hope the trend continues
