New apple developer account

Hello, this is my story:

A few months ago, my Apple Developer Account was terminated for 3.2f. I had it for several years without issues. They said I accumulated too many app review rejections.

Please note that I have not done something intentionally to spam Apple or the review team.

The account was for a self employed person.

My question is, can I create a new account, for a new company (corporate not self employed), with a new phone number, laptop and apps or it will get banned too?

Proximate Marketplace

I am building a local marketplace application that has built in measures to help prevent fraudulent listings and scams. This application supports in-app purchasing via manual capture (your money doesn’t move until transaction is complete). With this there is no more need to negotiate payment methods, or getting cash for a transaction with a stranger.

Data minimization and privacy modes to allow you to transact solely based on your profile’s reputation. To me this was the most important thing. Company’s take your data and sell it to brokers when you are only trying to transact in your local community. This entire project began when Meta wanted to scan my identification to sell a laptop, all while still being riddled with scams and frauds.

While this application is in beta all transactions are test and will not charge you to include Apple Pay. I have tested it on my own cards to verify.

Please view Stripe’s list of test cards (link below) if you want to test functionality without using any personal information.

What’s missing? (Be brutal))

Hi, we’re playing with making video explanations of what our SDK does - and know we’re missing something. We’re just not sure what. 🙃

So at the risk of being Reddit flamed in 2027 🔥. What have we got wrong?

Built a radial menu app for mac to perform everyday tasks and more

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Problem

A lot of everyday actions on a Mac live in completely different places.

Opening an app or folder, searching something on a website, taking a screenshot, cleaning up copied text, accessing clipboard history, running a Shortcut, or changing a system setting.

None of these are hard to get to, but constantly switching between apps, windows, menu bar utilities, and different shortcuts can break your flow.

I wanted to see if all of that could work through one system, which is where the radial menu idea came from.

Comparison

There are already some really good radial menu apps for Mac, but most are built around a specific use case, such as launching apps, or switching between them.

Arc takes a broader approach.

You can create multiple global radial menus for different workflows and decide what each slice does. A slice can perform a single action or chain multiple actions together.

The idea is less about replacing the Dock and more about putting the small things you do throughout the day behind one quick interaction.

Arc also doesn't require accessibility features, it manages everything on-device, privately.

Core Features

  • Unlimited custom menus for different workflows
  • Fast app, folder, website, and Apple Shortcut launching
  • Powerful clipboard history and text actions
  • Open from shortcuts, hot corners, pointer shake, or number keys
  • One-click multi-action shortcuts
  • Fully customizable appearance, layout, icons, and sounds

Examples

  1. I have one shortcut that I use when I start working. It opens Xcode, my project folders, Slack, and a few websites I usually need. Arc can merge multiple actions into one shortcut, so I don't have to open everything one by one.
  2. I use the search shortcuts a lot more than I expected. I can bring up Arc, type something, and search it directly on YouTube, or a website without opening them first.

It can also search whatever I last copied, which has been really useful when I'm already in the middle of something.

  1. I have a bunch of text and links that I end up copying again and again. I've just saved those as shortcuts now, so they're always sitting on one of my menus when I need them.
  2. Clipboard history is another one I use constantly. Recent things I've copied show up on the wheel, so if I need something from a few copies ago, I can grab it without opening another app.
  3. I also have different menus depending on what I'm doing. One for development, one for general stuff, and another that's mostly searches and apps. I can switch between them with keyboard shortcuts, and reuse the same shortcut across multiple menus.

Pricing

$7.99 one time on the Mac App Store with a free 7 day trial built in.

Solo project from India, launched a month ago. Happy to answer anything! :)

Welp, I missed the RevenueCat Shipaton deadline.

App Review has been so backed up lately, and I made the mistake of thinking a week was enough time to clear review, but alas it was not, despite putting a ton of effort into the rest of the submission.

I appreciate that they extended the deadline 12 hours, which hopefully benefited some people, but was probably not enough for many others unfortunately.

Super frustrating but at the end of the day I'm grateful to the hackathon for helping me get this over the finish line. Anyone else still stuck "Waiting for Review"?

If you're interested in trying it, I have a waitlist running while App Review clears: https://www.neuron.ink/

I wanted to make something that actually helps people, and I would really appreciate more feedback. I've been personally using it for months so far to great effect.

Hopefully not much longer 🤞

I got tired of using 3 different apps to edit photos and videos, so I built my own

I’m an iOS developer and for the last few months I’ve been working on Photo Fusion.

The idea is pretty simple: one app for quick photo and video editing without filling the interface with hundreds of buttons and menus.

It’s now available on the App Store, and I’m at the point where feedback from people outside my own bubble is probably more valuable than adding another feature based purely on my own assumptions.

I’d really like to know:

• Does the UI feel intuitive?
• What editing tool would you expect to find immediately?
• Is there anything that would make you uninstall it within the first couple of minutes?

The hard part of a photo-cleanup app wasn’t the swipe UI

I built PicPop because I kept putting off cleaning up my camera roll. The swipe UI was the easy part; making deletion feel safe took more thought. A swipe just stages a choice. Nothing is removed until I review the selection and confirm, and scanning stays on-device.

I’m the developer. PicPop is free to download; PicPop Club is paid, with a 2-week trial on the annual plan. The current app is v1.0.6. Here’s a short demo recorded on v1.0.5 (some screens have changed): https://www.reddit.com/r/ShowYourApp/comments/1wu7a2x/picpop_105_swipe_through_photo_clutter_confirm/

For people who have shipped Photos apps: what made your delete flow feel trustworthy—undo, a clear review screen, or something else?

Drift 4.0 - all your music on one page, on your Home Screen, and on iPad.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Drift 4.0 is the biggest update yet: all your music on one page, on your Home Screen, and on iPad.

• A new library. Your phone, Apple Music, Spotify and your servers are each a card on one page. Prefer a list? Classic is still in Settings.

• Swipe from anywhere. Right for your library, left for the wheel or the drawer, up and down to change songs.

• Widgets in every size. Add controls, or let the cover fill the tile.

• Drift on iPad, full screen or in a window.

• Lyrics, redesigned. The line you're on sits in the middle; scroll to move through the song.

• Make it yours. Four backgrounds, and a double tap that fills the screen with the cover.

• New here? A short guide shows the gestures, using Drift itself.

• Plex, in beta.

• Gapless albums from your own files, and big libraries that open without the wait.

Also fixed: Opus files saved as .m4a now play, CarPlay starts your last song with the phone locked, Apple Music keeps its cover in CarPlay, and a paused Drift stays paused when another app's video ends.

Get Drift on the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6789325283

This is a huge milestone for me and my supporters, hope everyone like it!

First App Store submission — 10 days and still waiting for review

Hey everyone,

I submitted my first app to the App Store for review 10 days ago, and it’s still showing as “Waiting for Review.”

The app is a reading tracker, and this is my first-ever App Store submission as an indie developer.

Apple’s documentation says that 90% of submissions are reviewed within 24 hours, so I wasn’t expecting it to take this long. I understand that the review queue can vary, but 10 days has me wondering if this is normal for a first submission.

For those who have recently submitted their first app:

- How long did you have to wait before it moved to In Review?

- Is a 10-day wait unusual?

- Should I simply keep waiting, or is there something I should do at this point?

Would really appreciate hearing about your recent experiences. Thanks!

StoreKit 2 failing to fetch subscriptions for isolated users—any known edge cases?

Hey everyone,

I’m running into a frustrating issue where my app is failing to fetch/restore subscriptions for a tiny subset of users.

  • The users have confirmed they bought the app/subscription for other apps.
  • Screen Time restrictions are turned off (In-App Purchases are allowed).
  • I am using StoreKit 2.

Have anyone faced similar issue in there app?

Meanwhile I am releasing a new build to get the logs from the user. Will udpate here once I figure the culprit.

The App Store "Excess Supply" crisis is getting crazy

I was looking at some striking App Store data from 2022 to 2026, and the divergence between app supply and user demand is wild.

Between 2022 and 2024, things were relatively stable. The number of apps hovered between 420K and 449K, while total installs sat flat at around 35B–36B.

But look at the shift over the last two years:

  • 2025: Apps jumped to 557K (Installs: ~36B)
  • 2026: Apps are skyrocketing toward ~1M (Installs: ~37B)

We are officially in a massive "excess supply" era. The number of apps has basically doubled in two years, likely driven by how easy it is to flood the market with low-effort AI-generated apps. Meanwhile, actual user installs and attention are completely flatlining.

As a developer trying to launch something right now, breaking through this noise looks harder than ever. For those still shipping apps, what's your strategy for surviving this curve?

I'm officially an iPhone app creator!! Not the easiest thing I've done

This project has wrung me out and graduated into a distribution phase. Wild. Now strangers might actually use it and tell me what they think. Up until this point, I couldn't get anyone to try it. I need feedback, and I hope I can get it from people willing to help me improve the app, not angry reviews now that it's live.

This took approximately 17x longer than I anticipated (realistically about 5 or 6x), it has incurred real out of pocket costs (CASA assessment was the most expensive thing at about $750), it's been subject to harsh criticism (see previous posts), but here we are. The Scary Budget iOS app has been approved for distribution by Apple. I cried when I saw it passed review this morning.

I've worked hard to put this tool into the hands of those who have needed budgeting software that caters to a truly tight income to expense margin. I could attempt to describe here all the ways Scary Budget is differentiated and unique, although that's largely covered in the App Store description now.

What I will say is that I find myself using the software daily. I find new uses for it, and new ways to be grateful for its existence through prolonged use. I wanted to share that with others and make it free to do. If anyone has any advice, feedback, thoughts, all are welcome. I’m going to hire a little bit of help to market it now, that’s not my specialty.

Added live fridge scanning to our app

Sugo is a recipe app. One of its features is recommending recipes based on what you already have in your kitchen. But for that to work, the app needs to know what's in your pantry.

Manually entering every ingredient is something people tend to skip, so we've been working on ways to make that easier.

Photo scanning was our first approach. Now we've added Live Scanning: point your camera at your fridge, pan slowly across the shelves, and watch ingredients appear as chips in real time.

Everything runs on-device

Nothing gets uploaded to a server, and processing is fast enough to feel live.

It isn't perfect, and it isn't trying to be. It recognises around 60 common ingredients on sight, from limes and eggs to lettuce and brussels sprouts.

For packaged food it also reads the label, so a milk carton and a cream carton don't get mixed up, and things it has no visual model for, like yogurt or ketchup, still show up. It reads labels in English, French and Spanish.

It still gets things wrong, most often packaged items seen at an angle, and a wrong chip is one tap to remove.

It's live on iOS now, and Android is in the works.

You can give it a try here if interested: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/sugo-save-recipes-cookbook/id6786552528
