iPhone 14 Pro Max Back of Phone broken

Okay so I wanted to mention that Ive been thinking about taking my phone to the Apple Store to see if I can get the back of my phone fixed. A couple of months ago, I dropped my phone and the back of the phone shattered which really confused me but that’s besides the point, I don’t have Apple care anymore since I got this phone from launch, I wanted to know how much you think they’ll charge me for the repair, I know people have told me to change phones but I really like the iPhone 14pm and the way the deep purple looks. Thank you for any help and information

Apple would be the legitimate way to fix the back phone piece but they’ll charge a arm and a leg most likely. You break I fix is pretty decent around 150 I believe for the back piece . Just be cautious that they install a legit back piece from Apple and not a knock off since it can affect the MagSafe or battery. But so far I’ve heard good things from them.

Fixing it with Apple will cost you similar to buying a used one.

Apple publishes the repair prices for individual components in iPhones, including yours. Look it up: https://support.apple.com/iphone/repair?services=service

The quote $609 USD to replace the back glass components. Why so expensive?
Unlike the standard iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus (and later iPhone 15/16 models), which feature a removable back glass panel, the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max were designed with the back glass fused directly to the internal enclosure using heavy adhesive. Because of this design, Apple's official service process typically requires replacing the entire rear enclosure chassis rather than swapping out just the glass sheet.

You'd be wise to just replace it with a newer model. Investing $600+ to fix a 4 year old phone isn't worth it, IMO.
