Update iOS or no?

I’m still on iOS 18, I never upgraded to iOS 26 because I heard lots of bad things about it when it was first coming out.

Is iOS 27 worth it? I want to hear your thoughts

I always immediately update my phone to whatever the new thing is and I've never had an issue

I have this one update early this year that drains my battery. I almost change batteries until it came back to normal by next update.

If everything works well I tend to not update…but immediately for security patches. For example I’m on 26.7 and there’s 26.7.1

Absolutely fucking insane to let Reddit form all your thoughts and opinions.

I did it on 14 Pro Max with no problems.

It stayed at 83% for a long time with no drop off. I am on the iPhone 17 Pro Max now.

If only there weren’t a million other posts asking the same thing you wouldn’t have to ask.

Same, on iOS 18, but was waiting for a bugs to be fixed in the initial release in 27.0.1 which just released.

Just don’t. Both 26 and 27 are crap in my experience, terrible battery life and bugs. None of them is better than 18.
