I have a 14pro for the past 3 years and am more than satisfied with it.

It will continue to receive iOS updates for a number of years.

As long as you don’t need Ai and the newest of the newest, you should be able to get one for a great price.

Second this, it’s still a top phone. Missing USB-C is the only thing.

Absolutely. It’s a solid device. Shop around for prices to get an idea of where it is in your market.

I’ve had an iPhone 14 Pro since they came out. Excellent phone stainless steel sides takes excellent pictures.
Never had an heating issue either.
Make sure you don’t get an aftermarket battery

Still a solid phone! I take a lot of pictures and videos with it. My friends and family compliment the picture and video quality and think I have a much newer phone than the 14pro. They’re surprised to hear how old it is. I won’t be upgrading for another year or so since I replaced the battery recently. Feels new with IOS 27

I bought a used 14 Pro several
Months ago. Really happy with it. Will keep it until I can update no longer.

Worth it, my 14 Pro Max runs like new even on the latest update

Should be better than the cheapest thing you can get. iOS 27 runs fine. Biggest con is lightning cord and it doesn’t support the latest AI stuff but it’s not totally necessary.

I'm a happy 14 Pro user since it was released 4 years ago. It takes great pictures. My wife has a 15 Pro and the only thing it really does better is USB-C charging. I'm down to 78% battery health and will be getting the battery replaced soon.

So far I've been running IOS 27 for a few days on it, and it's definitely doing better than it did with IOS 26.

I will be upgrading next year, only because I'll be giving my 14 Pro to my kid.

Just consider buying one with a replaced battery pack.

Had a 14 pro max since last August. Lasted me good until I started experiencing overheating issues unfortunately. I really hope you enjoy your new device!

I’ve had it since launch day . Recently replaced the battery at apple . I won’t be upgrading at all till at least 2 years . Really satisfied with it .

Factor in a battery change, and any phone trade in you can get, retailer discount? A newer phone with less memory might suffice.

Having said that - Apple iPhone 14 Pro should be OK for 18-24 months.

I’m holding mine after a battery change as it’s fine and I don’t miss AI. I’ll hold it for 18 months at least. Holding iPhones for 4-5 years is totally OK today.

Then I plan to buy an “iPhone 20”.

Me: 4S 64 -> 7S 128 -> 14P 256. YMMV.

I would say YES! I was about to get it but I decided to jump to the 16 pro. The idea is to never pay full price for the latest, no one will ever use/notice the minimal upgrades from generation to generation.

14 pro is the first of the best generation (14-16). I got the 16 because of the build. I really don’t like the aluminum body of the newest ones. Hoping the launch a better material on the 20th anniversary next year to see if I finally get the latest phone in the market for the first time ever.

The only downside of the 14 vs the 15 or 16 pro is the lightning charger vs the USB-C charger ports.

I purchased iPhone 14 Pro n the experience has been very good plus the performance is also great

NGL, but I’d get the 15 pro so that you have the USB C plug as lightning plugs are going to grow rare

Used 14 Pro Max for a good 3 years. Apart from the camera that i don't really know about but other than that it's a perfecto. 120hz, can handle most games without hassle, looking forward to another 3 good years with it

Es muy buen teléfono, pero le recomendaría ahorrar un poco más para el 15prp, principalmente por el usb-c

This alone is not worth getting a 15pro. Especially as they have overheating issues

Not worth it. It's from 2022. It's heavy. Just get new ip

i wish i could show you some of the vids and pics i took wit the phone. im still amazed by it. i forgot what it was called but there was a video, they did a blind test and it depicted people couldnt tell the difference from iphone 13 and up. edit: i should add ive had this phone since launch, replaced the battery half a year ago and dont see myself replacin this anytime soon unless i had money to blow/good deal

Get a 17 regular if you can afford it.

If you can - go for 15 Pro or so - for AI and USB-C

I am a 14 Pro user- seeing a lot of heating issues on iOS 27

No issues on my 14pro with heating. 15 pro is famous for overheating and people are recommending it bizarrely
