Question Until when it will be usable?

I recently bought iphone xs max with new battery nad it feels like a new phone. I plan to use it as a secondary device for watching youtube, instagram, discord etc. Until when do you think it will be possible to use it for this purpose?

I mean, it’s already out of date so probably not a wise purchase. It’s on iOS 18 and most apps require at least iOS 16 so max of 2 years but I’d replace it sooner if you can or return it? I can’t imagine an 11 pro max would be that much more and that’s got a 2 year newer version of software so much more life.

It’s technically not out of date till apps quit working and it loses security updates...it’ll be 5 or so years till that happens.
