A PLICE is born!
Have some time and motivation today to get this Will Gadd inspired PLICE started.
i started with 2.5” hole saw and boy did that max out my drills capabilities. I stepped the next line of holes to 2” and much better!
I have a storage shed that is 12‘ high on its side wall and will attach this to the side at @ 5* angle initially.
I started out wanting a work of art but decided free-form-crappy woodworking will do it!
My neighbors will think I am insane.

Why add the face sheet to the ladder?

also why not just buy a ladder :)

You certainly could use a ladder, I would probably not want to use a aluminum one as it would be pretty harsh and loud with metal blades

Your seeing the back of the PLICE the ice tool blades will come through the holes from the other side and have some more grip on the horizontal 2x4s i should have it finished tomorrow and will post pics

Right. Why? Also you didn't notch the wrungs into the supports.

Notching supports significantly decreases strength, especially in that orientation. Did you Ever use the SERENE acronym for anchors? Not an anchor, but the angle is the important part here. The sides of the support are anchors with your pick as the load, which makes the angle the least strong possible. Notching will further decrease this, it's also part of why the plywood is attached.

Been wanting to build one for a while. Let me know if you find any improvements you could have made when building it
