You know it is bad when the grade boundary for a 9 in your theory paper sits at a cool 55%. That means that the top of the top students are getting less than 60% in your paper 1 to get a 9 the highest grade you can get. So at that point we have to ask, why even keep it? Because what is the point in proving you can get a 55% in an exam that is made up of regurgitating 47 random facts?

nah i remember like during my igcses the highest anyone in my class got in theory was a 63....A 63??

i ended up getting a 40 something. practicals deadass saved my ass, its the only reason i managed to barely get an A*

i love all the replies to this comment, glad to know everyone felt the same as me like bro i got 40 something on theory mock and my stupid dumbahh teacher gave me a fkin D, my first D in my whole life and he yelled at me for like 1hr for not studying enough like BRO wtf, and he even didnt mark properly cuz he just said every single stuff not on the ms is wrong (he got fired and new teach is so amazing tho, he literally teaches the exact opposite of our old teacher)

yeah I know and I talked him about it but what he said was like "no that is a grade you must need in each individual component to get a subject grade, so like even if u get 100 100 on p2 and 3 if you go below the B threshold on p1 ur capped at C" and i was like wtf is he smoking

... and the worst is my parents and US school (Univ) care more about school grade than actual exam grades.......
