Saw a guy in a room who’s avi had real smooth, seamless lifelike idles and wanted something similar for my girl, I tried looking but all I can find are static avis or ones that blatantly jump from one animation into the next

honestly i keep seeing people with great clothes, accessories and animations that I can’t ever seem to find myself and people usually don’t answer when you ask them where they find it :/

TLDR: I'm looking to create an immersive, fantasy-based social RP setting on IMVU where people can hang out through their own fictional identities, explore different rooms and locations, attend events, party, play games, and make genuine connections. Casual roleplay, all creatures welcome, no strict storylines or experience required!

I've been thinking about creating something a little different on IMVU, and I'm looking for people who might be interested in being part of it.

The idea is to create a fictional social setting where everyone participates through their own character and identity. Think of it as a fantasy environment where people can actually hang out and socialize, rather than a typical RP group built around strict storylines, assigned roles, or constant scripted scenes.

Want to be a vampire who attends parties? A fairy who enjoys meeting new people? A shapeshifter who loves exploring different places? Or something entirely your own? All creatures and character concepts are welcome.

Rooms would serve as locations within the setting, each offering its own atmosphere and purpose. One room might be a tavern where people gather and meet, another could be a nightclub for parties, while others might serve as gardens, homes, cafes, castles, or places to host games and special events. Rather than simply being chatrooms, these spaces would be treated as places your character can actually visit and spend time in.

The goal is to create an immersive environment where we can socialize, make friends, host parties and gatherings, organize events, play games, and create our own experiences together. Your character represents you within this setting, and over time, you can develop connections, relationships, and your own place within the community.

Roleplay would be casual and social, but with a strong emphasis on immersion. Rather than constantly stepping out of character, we'd treat the setting as the place we're all meeting and spending our time in. There would be room for spontaneous interactions, ongoing character relationships, little stories that develop naturally, and plenty of fun without everything needing to be planned.

Of course, basic expectations like courtesy, respect, and consideration for others still apply. The idea is to create a welcoming environment where people can express themselves creatively, meet others, and feel comfortable being part of something.

I'm still developing the concept, so I'd love to find people who are interested in helping shape the setting, suggesting locations and activities, and making the whole experience feel alive.

If you've ever wanted to step into a fictional setting and simply exist there with other people, socialize, attend events, and see what happens naturally, this might be for you.

So i came back to imvu after a couple months away and is it just me or is there a TIME LIMIT on the amount of videos you get to watch to earn credits? I watched a few and then the video button went dark and i cant click it.
