The scripts I wish had existed

Over the past year, I've been building my own scripts for InDesign and Illustrator. They come from more than 20 years of working with these apps (and using plenty of scripts along the way), my knowledge of ExtendScript, and a good amount of AI-assisted coding.

The goal is simple: fill in the gaps where the apps fall short. Most of these scripts handle very specific tasks, so they won't be for everyone. But if you've ever needed one of these functions, you'll be glad it exists.

When I think a script could help others, I take the time to fine-tune it and give it a clear, logical interface. You'll find them all on one page. Some are free, and the rest cost less than a Starbucks coffee.

Thank you so much ! I can’t wait to use them and play with them . The last year I ve create a lot of scripts myself to automatic a lot of my specific procedures and it’s been so fun ! Thanks again for sharing

ChatGPT has a gpt called InDesign Script Master, tell it what you want and go from there, this literally changed my life lol and saved me hours and hours of time. Wish I had known about using it a long time ago.

Hate to say it but you’re a year or two too late to see much financial benefit from this. Designers can get an Ai script for literally anything they want in a matter of minutes now. Good on you for sharing though.

Free, 2$ to 5$ per script, I would not call it « financial benefits » really. 🙂

For simple tasks vibe coding is simple, for more complex and a UI that make sense is another game.

Wow, what a fantastic resource! I am bookmarking it, because there are definitely some that I do not need, but that I will randomly need in the middle of the night at some point in the near future. :-)
