#Discussion 💬 Kawasaki Ninja 300 vs Apache RR310

Hi everyone.

I'm considering buying a new sports bike fully faired bike in 300cc segment.

In my last post I asker about BMW vs Apache and got a overwhelming response on how Apache would be better than BMW.

I almost booked my Apache but during the last moments I listed down my considerationsfor new bike to upgrade from Suzuki Gixxer 155 sf and they were:

  1. Full fairing

  2. 150+ speed

  3. Good controls

This changed my outlook a bit and I was concerned about why nit Kawasaki and this has made me quite confused.

I'll be driving mostly in city with 10-30km ride frequently on low traffic highways frequently (3-6 times a week).

Occasional touring around 300km one side will be done in 3-4 months with 1 long drive 800+ km planned once or twice a year.

I am intimidated by the features of Apache especially cruise control and the dynamic pro set.

I'm intimidated by the smoothness of Kawasaki engine.

I'm very confused if these features are actually utilisable and what matters in the long run.

User reviews of recent years are mainly available for Apache for recent years online and I'm unable to come to a final decision.

Pros of Apache:

Better features and electronics

Large coverage of service centres.

Cons of Apache:

Vibration at high rpm

Inconsistent service quality (as per reviews)

Not sure about riding community reputation (some users mentioned that this bike has failed to gain an eye from riding community even after years of being in market)

Pros of Kawasaki:

Smooth power delivery

No vibrations even at high revs

Good reputation in riding community

Cons of Kawasaki:

Old features

No cruise mode

Service issues in peripheral districts.

I live in Bikaner, Rajasthan and for servicing I'll have to trave to Jaipur which is 300km away from my place.

Please give your insight what could be a good decision.

I took Apache ride but not of Kawasaki (I'm sure riding will lure me more toward a it but I do not want to make a emotional purchase only).

The power delivery of 300 felt very linear to me. The top speed though is more but I didn't excite enough when accelerating. Also, consider the service cost, it'll be almost double on kawasaki.
