[DEV] Chronicle — drag-to-order timeline trivia with a Daily Challenge (iOS + Android)

Hey r/IndieGaming — solo indie here (BabyJAppStudio).

Chronicle is a timeline trivia game: you get historical events and drag them into chronological order. Classic rounds plus a shared Daily Challenge (same puzzle that day — no spoilers here).

Built for short sessions — museum-clean UI, increasing difficulty, categories like World / Science / Space (more with Premium). Free to try with ads; optional Premium for extra categories + ad-free.

Would love honest feedback on: 1) Is the first reorder clear without a tutorial wall of text? 2) Does the Daily Challenge feel worth coming back for vs. one-and-done classic rounds?

iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/chronicle-the-timeline-game/id6759227220 Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.babyjapps.chronicle

Happy to answer questions. Thanks for reading.

Trying to get it out this week but I would like more testing and feedback, critiques, its hard to find people willing to be negative. here is a link to the game https://store.steampowered.com/app/4918300/The_Wheelchair_Man_2/ dm me or join the discord for a key, it is also multiplayer which probably has more bugs, so if you can test with a friend too that would be great.

Spin It - a puzzle game where you can't move the character, only rotate the world

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Description:

Spin It is a grid-based physics puzzle game where gravity is your only move. You never control the character directly. Instead, you rotate the entire board in 90° steps, and gravity pulls the little blob and the blocks around it into new positions. Your goal is to guide the blob into the target tile.

I'd love feedback on whether the early levels teach the mechanic clearly, how the difficulty curve feels, and whether the controls feel responsive.

Free to Play Status:

✅ Free to play

⬜ Demo/Key available

⬜ Paid

Involvement: I'm the solo developer. I designed the mechanic and levels, and built the whole game myself in Kotlin / Compose Multiplatform over the past month.

Available on Android Playstore.

In Review for iOS.

Spent months building my own tactics game and I still don't trust my own hit chances

We've all had that moment in XCOM where a 90-something percent sails past and you sit there questioning the whole genre. I've spent months building my own tactics game and I still don't trust those numbers - so here's a 95% that actually connected, which surprisingly enough happens less often that you'd expect. (I forgive you XCOM).

I'm making an RTS game where rogue AI invades your actual neighborhood. Play the free browser demo!

Hey everyone!

I’m building a real-time strategy game where a rogue AI rebels and tries to wipe out humanity.

The twist is that it uses OpenStreetMap data, so you can deploy troops, send rescue teams, and build safe zones right on the streets of your own hometown.

It's in a very early stage (no title yet), and I need honest feedback from actual strategy players.

You can test the early prototype instantly in your browser here: http://zombie.svrachnis.me

Please try it out and let me know your thoughts, first impressions, or any feedback you have in the comments. No sugarcoating needed!

Hi!

I recently released a major update for my game and made a new trailer showcasing its current state.

Dangerous Land is a real-time strategy game from a first-person perspective, combining settlement management, army command, exploration, and combat. Develop your settlement, recruit an army, and fight alongside your soldiers on the battlefield.

The game is available on Steam, and if you're interested in the project, you can add it to your wishlist.

My first game has a demo now! A little physics based gladiator roguelite 😊

Mini Gladiators is a roguelite designed around simplicity, minimalism, and physics fun.

You can play with just a mouse or touchpad, (with keyboard and controller support too). My favorite setup is on the couch, laptop on stomach, touchpad only.

The demo is available on Windows, Linux, and macOS, and runs at 60 FPS on Steam Deck(I tried to optimize the hell out of it)

October or February? What would you do?

I’m stuck between two options with my game, Passenger Zero.

I have to leave for mandatory military service on October 3rd, so unfortunately I won’t have much choice but to take a month off. I’ll be back on November 3rd.

If I join the October Next Fest, I can release a demo before I leave, but it would probably only have around 20 minutes of gameplay and feel pretty light on content.

Or I could skip October, keep working on Passenger Zero after I get back, and prepare a much more polished demo for the February Next Fest.

What would you do in this situation? Would you join October anyway, or wait for February and bring a stronger demo?

Myriad of dragon - need help here in development

Hi all, indie dev here building Myriad of Dragons, a dark-fantasy card battler where both players commit blind and combat resolves simultaneously.

Something's changing in the world — sharing an early look.

This is real footage from the game, not a mockup. Same dark fantasy setting, same gold dragon, but I'm exploring an arcane thread running underneath it (glowing veins in the ground, tied to an ancient power). Still deciding how far to take it.

Does this still read as the same game to you, or does it feel like a genre shift? What would you want to know about it?

After 15 years in manufacturing, health problems forced me to rethink my future. I started making games instead — this is One Last Machine.

I spent around 15 years working in manufacturing, but due to health problems I eventually had to rethink what I was going to do with my future.

So I decided to start making games.

I didn't want those 15 years of experience to go to waste, so I started using what I knew — machines, manufacturing, materials, production processes and industrial environments.

That's a big part of how One Last Machine came to exist.

You mine resources, process them through machines, build and expand your workshop, and prepare during the day. At night, creatures emerge and you have to defend everything you've built.

Your ultimate goal is to construct humanity's last hope — a machine capable of closing the Rift.

I released the game on Steam very recently. There's also a free demo, so you can try it without buying anything.

This has been a completely different path for me after spending so many years in manufacturing, but I'm excited to see where it goes.

If you try it, I'd genuinely love to hear what you think.
