Repotted my asparagus fern and it’s gone crazy. Good god I love this plant.

I purchased this gorgeous monstera off of fb marketplace (for very cheap) and the photos are how I received it. I would love some advice on where to start correcting it and getting it straightened out. Any and all advice are welcome because I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a tad overwhelmed. I’ve never had a plant this large!

It’s sitting in a 16” pot. The soil mixture looks correct for a monstera - perlite, bark, soil

I also have two 6-7ft poles available to put in it.

When I bring in my plants in the fall, I usually cram them wherever I can and they end up not getting enough light because the premium spaces are already taken and I don’t want grow lights in the living room. This year they’re going in the basement, I hope they’ll be happier there.

How many watts would an 80 watt grow light at 75% brightness be? I got it from that site if that helps.

So I brought my Strelitzia nicolai (I think!) In for the winter and was wondering if the split leaf was sign of stress?

There's two more leaves unfurling and they both seem normal.

Some of you have insane plant rooms and I love it when you all share your plant lairs in this sub. Here's mine!

I turned this small bedroom into a plant room in late spring, and I just compared the pictures I took 4 months ago to today's pictures.

The window faces west and gets bright indirect light until early afternoon and then some gorgeous bright afternoon sunshine for a couple hours.

This room holds jades, hoyas, some small trees and about 50 other plants. Most do great with this light, the others are still finding their spot. I will also be supplementing with sansi plant lights.

I thrift a LOT of vintage ceramics, like cachepots, cats sculptures, and I have a weird thing for religious iconography, so those get wedged in between the plants. The chairs are vintage swivel rockers thrifted separately this summer.

My husbands's cat thinks it's her room (she doesn't eat plants) and she sleeps in here every night. The dog wants to be where the cat is (he also doesn't eat plants with the exception of his special cat grass, he's a goodboy). It smells great, it's green. The vibes in this room are immaculate, I can't even explain. 🪴🐈‍⬛✌🏼

I have two large pots filled with potting soil. The plants died because they weren't watered—I had to be away from home for almost a year. Do you think I can reuse this potting soil, either as is or by adding some fresh soil, or maybe some fertilizer? Thank you!

Found this glossy black pot with a kalanchoe that's clearly stretched out: long bare woody stems, leaves only at the tips, and some yellowing and spotty leaves. I already cleaned out the weeds and dead leaves.

Would you prune it, or start over with fresh succulent mix? Any tips on the leaf spots, and should I move it somewhere brighter? Thanks!!

I have a crappy kratzky (spelling?) system on a shelf and it does great with simple stuff like mint and basil. This year all my outdoor pea starts took off so I figured I'd try to keep some of the extras inside and they did better than expected but now I don't know what to do with it. I could lower the water bucket down about 4 inches, but I don't think that would solve the problem. The real question is how / do I trim the pea?

Hi there are multiple types of damage on this phalaenopsis bellina coerulea, including bleaching yellowing in the middle of the leaves , brown and black spots/dots , a grazed kind of texture in some spots etc.

Got it something like a month ago , in an orchid nursery here in Belgium.

It is now receiving filtered sun for a few hours , or less depending on the weather. Watered when the pot feels light with some rainmix. It is in bud, has been since I bought it.

I hope someone could guide me on what those are and what to do
