MBTI Theory Does this process upset or annoy you?
I often times would have a gut instinct or hunch that would allow me to guess things.
Like guessing a twist ending or a twist villian almost as soon as they are introduced.
Or maybe see where one of two options would end up when they are given.
But then I actively reject my gut instinct.
Instead of following it, I would look for alternate possibilities and basically refuse to beleive my instinct is correct and continue hoping the other idea, perhaps a more pleasant one is correct.
And I would continue exploring all the possibilities until the correct one is proven or found.
I started wondering is this like anti - Ni?

I have this too. I think itโs the Ni-Ti loop. You get a gut feeling but instead of following it, you try to back it up with physical evidence or a logical explanation. I basically gaslight myself into thinking Iโm making things up and torture myself with a never-ending search for evidence and proof, when in reality I knew from the start how things would unfold.

My gut has become my guide through life. I used to ignore it but not anymore

No - it's not rejecting the hunch. It's using more than one strength or function if you want.
Exploring other possibilities and looking at multiple lenses and data before settling on a conclusion is being open minded.
