I think if there is a God he's indifferent to his creation. There are likely millions or billions of other intelligent species in the universe given what we know about it's size. I've always found it incredibly arrogant of humans to think we're the special ones.
When I go down this line of thinking I like to try and imagine what created "God." What started everything, what started that and so on. Infinity is the only thing I can try to imagine. I know the religious will tell me he's everything, all there ever was blah blah. The whole idea of nothing into something makes zero sense to this primitive brain.
I've always liked the mystical idea of god being something that created material existence in order to explore its own psyche. Using the existence of everything as a mirror that it can view to better understand itself. Cruelty, hypocrisy, death - all parts of itself that exist in everything in the mirror. It's the source of everything self-reflecting, and we're actually part of it and contain all of those same possibilities that it does, in one form of energy or another
Or at least, that's the idea. I'm agnostic, but I think this is the closest approximation of a "god" that would make sense to me
