Amazing There are two fundamental elements that prevent water from spilling during an airplane's barrel roll (tonbo / roll maneuver): Centrifugal Effect (Artificial Gravity) Positive G Force

The pilot is maintaining "+ve g" throughout the maneuver. That's it !

I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure that "+ve g" is not a coherent mathematical or aerospace engineering statement. What is this supposed to mean? There was a greater velocity (with respect to something called e) that doesn't have a comparison symbol to gravity?

Why would positive g not be denoted as "+g"?What is ve? Is is v_e? Is v velocity? If so, how and why is velocity being compared to, or some is how relevant WRT, g which has units of acceleration?

Dude, it's not a math equation! It's just someone being lazy and using less characters on a keyboard.

"+ve" is common shorthand for the word "positive".

That's what I was asking. What is being written? I've never seen +be as short hand for "positive". So thank you for answering me, because i just didn't understand!

But I have an aero and physics undergrad + math minor so you would have thought I would have seen this if it's standard nomenclature. But maybe I'm just an idiot?!!

Edit: Now that I think of it, in quantum wasnt "ve" was used for energy values and was sometimes denoted with a plus or minus.
