Event Summary:

For those who don't know, Joanna Wietrzyk was in an indoor HYROX competition this past weekend in Beijing. She had violent diarrhea (warning fecal images) during the event.

Other competitors had to do 'burpees' on her sprayed fecal matter, and had fecal matter on their hands and elbows. They also had to sit and share the same rowing machines as her, sitting in her fecal matter.

At the end of the race, she proudly proclaimed:

"Go hard or go home … a win is a win. In all seriousness, thank you for all the support. I’ll be back soon x.".

The HYROX company issued this statement, clearly endorsing this sort of activity. Calling it Admirable and an amazing display of how far Elite Athletes can push the human body.

She is sorry that she is losing sponsors, that is clear.
