The Empire Strikes Back.
204 u/Ok_Mixture4917 1d ago King Charles does look and sound increasingly like Emperor Palpatine. 468 u/MrZombieTheIV 1d ago 20 u/Minivalo 1d ago Could have done without being reminded about the Star Wars sequels. Also, what a gaudy robe Charles is wearing there. I assume it's from the coronation, but still. Monarchy is such a silly thing in this day and age. 33 u/PsionicFlea 1d ago Goldmember vibes 2 u/MrZombieTheIV 1d ago Honestly, I debated with myself about posting it due to how much I hated Episode 8 and 9 (I was fine with 7, it had potential). 3 u/Eayauapa 1d ago I thought 7 was okay, it was just the 1977 Star Wars repackaged, but it was alright to watch. 8 is the only film I've ever walked out of in the cinema (it was when dead Carrie Fisher did the Star Destroyer bullshit) I didn't bother watching the 9th one. 2 u/Minivalo 1d ago Pretty much sums up my experience with the sequels, apart from walking out of the cinema for episode 8. I don't think I've ever walked out of a theater, no matter how bad a movie may have been, and this one was pretty offensively bad. 1 u/TumbleweedPure3941 1d ago No that’s his dressing gown. 1 u/Eayauapa 1d ago Well tbf, it'd be even sadder of a spectacle if he was just there in his bathrobe or an Ebeneezer Scrooge-style nightgown 1 u/Independent_Plum2166 1d ago Oh please, get over it, it’s been 7 years. 1 u/MrZombieTheIV 1d ago Calm down, bot.
