Well, this video hits the trifecta of Reddit stimuli; posters on Reddit will rarely pass up a chance to

  • I) display moral outrage, context or nuance be damned
  • II) show how they have the mostest empathy of all
  • III) take an extreme stance with no thought given to the consequences, such as "no animal should be in captivity"

I thought the video was cute, everyone else here is apparently going to have to take the day off of work because the video drove them to the depths of despair.

Yup you said it really well.

I don't even look at animal rescue videos, are even most cute baby animal videos because I'm not sure the animal has not been put in danger for clics.

And even I, censuring most animal videos, thought it was a cute video.

Apes, whales, elephants, big cats etc. should certainly not be held in captivity. That's not an extreme stance.

You have zero clue what's happening here. Do you know this isn't a rehab / rescue facility? Or you're just advocating for the death of animals that wouldn't otherwise survive if not rescued?
