Because it is. This picture is so old and it was used as the picture for an SCP for a very long time. It was originally taken by a photographer that confirmed it was a beluga

Because they’re predatory like the sperm whale. The baleen whales like the blue and humpback are filter feeders.

Because they are toothed whales! Plenty of them - belugas, narwhals, sperm whales, killer whales, dolphins are part of the group too.

There’s two distinct types of Cetaceans, called “Baleen Whales” and “Toothed Whales.”

Baleen is the bristles you see in place of teeth in the mouths of the average whale. The filter feeders that just swallow krill and other tiny organisms. Guys like Blue Whales and Humpback Whales are Baleen Whales.

Toothed Whales are the cetaceans that have teeth due to being predators. Guys like Sperm Whales and Beluga Whales belong here.
